AICP
Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as Android Ice Cold Project that started on HTC Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until lollipop, ROM has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CyanogenMod when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

Latest Stable Release Version 11.0

AICP ROM Download link: http://goo.gl/lthk6n

DONT REBOOT BETWEEN FLASHING THE ROM AND GAPPS!!! OTHERWISE YOU WILL GET SETUP WIZARD FC!

Full Changelog link: goo.gl/mIgmYG

You can also view changelog at AicpExtras -> About -> Changelog on your phone

- You tell... :p

ROMs should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, Google Apps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

How to flash:

  • Install latest TWRP/CWM/Philz recovery on your device.
  • Make a backup of your current ROM.
  • Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
  • Flash ROM.zip and Googleapps.zip.
  • Reboot system and setup!

PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

Compare to the other roms that ive tested i find that the amout of free ram is lower then the others....for example RR wich pretty much has the same amount of tweaks i usually have around the high 400s and low 500s of mb free....this rom stays are the high 300s and even went down to 123mb.

Kidding me!? Every CM based ROM that I have used never gave me more than 380 mb of ram. This is THE only ROM that gives sometimes even a 490 mb! This has the best ram management till now as far as CM is concerned.

Im used to having more.....in the early version of cyanpop i was able to reach 600mb of free ram so for me after my usual tweaking im used to seeing low 400s and 500s not 200 and even as low as 123mb.

Try to do a test between this and another rom that youve used on a regular basis to see....but sometime its the service provider but to be sure a test would be helpful.....i havent noticed any drops or lower ups and dows on this rom, always topping out on the downs
