@logosA believe it or not I've been using Stock ROM for the past 3 weeks. I'm outdated with the news about this ROM or tilak's lineage os.
My biggest concern about coming back to any of these two ROMs is random reboot problem. It happened then even in the middle of a call or at any random moment. So I'm asking you since you're the most experienced user with these ROMs, ARE RANDOM REBOOTS still a problem? What else is not fixed yet?

Damn, got a random reboot right after 30 mins from the second boot, when I've tried to change the wallpaper.

No random reboot, BT working, GPS working, substratum theme engine working better than any other rom.
Not working, SoDelicious , NO video calls in Whatsapp and Viper, but working pretty well in FB messenger.
In Lineage versions, since yesterday, have removed ROOT by default !!!
Thats my observations, make your own decision

Flash magisk for systemless root
Version 10 of magisk seems to be really good

Here is my baseband and bootloader. Also note that I have a new original battery 6 months old.
I use for some days now 3D live wallpapers and still have no problem with reboots.

ND3 is a good bootloader. I've been using a old one but I flashed a new stock ROM compiled last year in july (it has june security patch and some add-ons) with a new bootloader. PE2 is a ND3 updated.
So lets see if my device reboots again...
Idk about battery since Nougat is the only ROM that reboots for me, others are pretty stable.

Spain and France got an update from Orange in the same time and I'm pretty sure they've got the security patch too.
Also I've got no reboot so far. I think the bootloader really makes a difference..

Also, I see a lot of improvements in the ROM since I've last used it, Pixel Launcher doesn't even lag anymore.

I told you, it is very good now.
Be carefull in updates, Lineage may playing some tricks , read the changes before update.
I am not saying AICP will do it too, but just in case....
