The thread mentions several times the installation of an app to turn off the device. What application are you referring to?
I tried with different apps, but every time I press the power off option, the tv box restarts. My tv box is already rooted (Vorke Z1).

Hello, can you tell me how to check if I have v311 or new version. Because I currently have v8 Aidan loaded, but that was done a long time ago, and I don't want to brick the device.

Good evening. Thank You so much for this ROM, but I have some questions : I need to update the installed certificates and and some more, to be able to watch the TV, so how can I do this ? Do I need to root the ROM ? Another question is how to add the right files in the right location in order to use me remote IR ? Many things in advance for your reply !
Hello, I have a Vorke Z5 so I installed the Tanix T3 Mini because it's quite similar but I have one problem which is the Clock being upside down.
I made a fix on ATVX 7 rom to make it to work but when I apply the same patch on v9 it does not boot.
It's possible to do an addon to make it to work on v9?

EDIT: Also the remote control are not correctly working so I'm switching to Generic version

I had good success flashing [v9] Aidan's ROM [S905W] [ATV 9] (SV6051P) on a AZW Maxesla Max-SII (p281). Everything seems to work including the wifi and the controller remote. Great job on this ROM development. However the Android TV interface is horrible. So much Google crap! How do you disable the interface programs? Can it be fixed with a good launcher? Any suggestions? Thanks.

The Power button behaviour seems to be set to restart or sleep and the device gets woken up by something. You can change the behaviour in the settings. You will probably find it searching for "power". It might not turn on after until you power cycle it though. For that reason I simply use a power extension with an on/off switch for all these devices.1

There Is No Root In This Firmware Because This Is a User Build (Not User Debug)
User Build: This Is Like The official Android Tv Devices (Like Mi Box), it does not have root or TWRP, Uses Release Keys and is SELINUX enforced
Why?
This Makes More Apps Show Up In The Play Store that didn't show before, (Example: Isp Android TV live tv app, only shows in Play Store On non rooted and SELINUX enforced devices, also the streams in the app do not even play in rooted devices.) And other Apps With Similar Issues On Non Certified Devices....

updates to S905W & S912 are slow due to not having test devices, makes stability improvements hard to diagnose, wifi improvements should be easier to add without testing and i will do this ass soon as i can, i have been working on a private project in most of my free time so not had a chance to further refine these chips, thanks for being paitent44
ahh forgot to add changelog here put on the s912 & s905w post haha will copy hereI am still running the s912 Version als Said in page 1 any relevant Changes? Maybe changelog? If Not i'll Stick to my Version thanks for your hard work!
