Have a H96 Pro Plus+ (S912 CPU, 3GB RAM & 32GB ROM) and it has the stock firmware (Android 6.0?) since I bought it new when the product was new on the market.

Is there any firmware available to make it up to date which is stable and without hidden backdoors etc. (e.g safe to use)?

Installed successfully Aidan's rom v9 on my tanix tx8 max the ddr3ddr4 rom.
But no luck at all trying to run Netflix, I'm getting the 'ui-800-3' error after 'the device is not optimized for netflix (-14)' message.
Tried to install older versions for older android also but nothing seems to work.
Any idea how to solve it?

After some more research I've found out that Netflix don't like unapproved devices, therefore there's a specific version that works in those devices.

I also have no option to power it off (X96 Mini S905W). Should I maybe try V8? I don't want to root my box, that was the whole point of this ROM anyway.

Just to be clear, I also can't turn it off with my remote. The led blinks a few times and my box turns back on. I have to unplug it everytime I wanna turn it off.

Is this normal for this rom/box?

The Power button behaviour seems to be set to restart or sleep and the device gets woken up by something. You can change the behaviour in the settings. You will probably find it searching for "power". It might not turn on after until you power cycle it though. For that reason I simply use a power extension with an on/off switch for all these devices.

I am using this firmware and everything works find except audio passthrough. I searched this thread and found that V8 may work. I can't find a v8 firmware with similar name to the v9 firmware. Will this one work on box?

Tried that v8 firmware. Mx player decoded Dolby truehd to dd5.1 to my receiver, not PCM 2.0 at lease.
I will go back to CoreELEC.

Hello @aidanmacgregor , there are couple of lineage based android 10 and 11 ROMs available for S912 devices which boots ok, is it possible to covert these ROMs to ATV?

hi all! do you know if this rom has built-in chromecast? in main post in v3 release y can see the message "Remove Chromecast" and i put the last rom and i can't see built-in chromecast

And i have one problem, i have an x96max tv box with S905x2 processor and i already installed the last v9 aidens rom and i have a few problems, for example with the amazon prime app sometimes i get an "hdmi cable error" but if i put the content again it works. With apple tv app i always get an error message and i can't play content, but with HBO Max app i can play all the content without any problem, are this errors common? it's for the tv box?

Hi,

I am using v9 on a Beelink GT1 Ultimate. Everything works great, except for one issue.

When the device wakes up, wifi is always disabled. If I enable it in the settings menu, its works fine.

Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening?

I have the A95X MAX V10 AMPAK, this box can be flashed with all roms for AX95 F2 AMPAK directly (loosing LAN)

With the issue the firmware can only see 2GB of ram
