Is there a system app remover built in to the ROM? I tried Titanium Backup like I usually do, but it's not getting the job done (maybe a 9.0 Pie thing?) I'd like to remove things like Browser, Email, Messaging, Trebuchet, etc.
RR Nougat/Oreo has a built-in system app remover, but I don't think it has made to Pie. If you want a native solution just reboot to recovery (or use any file manager with root access) and delete the folders from /system/app and /system/priv-app.

There are other ways to remove system apps but keep in mind that they'll come back every time you update the ROM. It may be a good idea to simply disable these apps instead, I did that myself with Android Setup.

Just used Link2SD to remove Trebuchet and can confirm it works. But as I mentioned here removing Trebuchet will also break the new recents, reverting to the pre-Oreo style.

I just delete the folder using a root file browser or twrp. but as @FlavioV wrote disable works on 99% of the apps, and survives ROM updates.

TWRP Use laste Mod version that I release Click Here

Installation instructions:
  • Download the latest build and GApps.
  • Reboot to recovery (recommended make a backup)
  • Coming from different ROM? Then Always wipe Data (without media aka without internal memory)
  • Wipe System*
  • Flash the latest build and GApps **
  • Reboot and enjoy!
* Wipe of Dalvik Cache and Cache not demanding but may help with some random minor bug that show after a update
** Gapps not demanding the ROM works perfect without it but if you plan to use gapps you need to flash it on a clean install with the ROM, In a ROM updates a "dirty flash" if you already have gapps always flash gapps again with the ROM update

Bug report are welcome, make with in the most accurate description possible, do not spare words, screens and logs, a bug that I can't understand and can't be reproduced, I can't fix.
Always start a post with a bug report with @fgl27 and always attached a log .zip
BHB27 Kernel Adiutor > Logs > One click all Logs to a ZIP
** If the device Random reboot also share the log made as sone as the device finished the random reboot

Bugs without logs, without @fgl27 will probably not be read, there is too much posts on the thread sometimes and I don't have time to read it all, anyone can post as much as is need of course as long is a things related to this thread

No issues here, try reflashing the rom
Mine did that too. Then it warmed up. Not the first rom flash that its happened. It will stop eventually.
Thanks for the ideas. It didn'd correct itself over a few hours, reflashing the 3/15 build didn't fix the issue.

Rolled back to 3/8 build. Works fine.

I think in my situation, the problem was substratum. I updated the pitchblack overlays and all was fixed. No issues since.
Anything special with updating the Pitch Black Subtratum theme? I've tried updating and am getting "funky behavior" (notification shade is not themed on lockscreen, but is when phone is open. is one example..)

I've tried cleaning overlays and starting fresh, rebooting phone, nothing helps.

Do you use the dark notification type on your android system overlay?

Hello! I'm writing from 4pda community(Russia). We have a problem with proximity sensor. In a moment a call display are shutdown, but a touchscreen didn't not. Somebody else have this bug? And who knows what this bug fix?
