2.4 or 5? 5 has been known is not working at the moment.

Is that only for the v20 builds or for any LOS ROMs? Tested 2.4 on my G4 again and it does work.

On the v20, unlike when set to 5, the toggle switch actually stays toggled instead of never switching over like what happens when configured for 5.

But it still shows "error" near the switch and never comes up.

Will go post on the microG thread now and see what they say. Thanks.

v20/g5/g6. Any fix would be helpful, still an issues in 15.1 as well.

@x86cpu
can i go straight from your 15.1 unofficials to this 14.1 official builds?
i've flashed several builds from the 14.1 official and 14.1 unofficials but always stuck on LOS booting screen (not rebooting to TWRP though)

i need to disable my proximity sensor somehow, sensor disabler xposed module only works up to nougat :(

You should be able to flash my 15.1 unofficial. You will need to flash the to-x86cpu.zip first as the signing keys changed. Not sure why you get stuck. You could need to wipe data.

No idea on proximity sensor. There is magisk modules you can search/try.

im sorry if i cannot describe the situation properly, but currently im running your latest 15.1 build. works wonders :good:

the thing is i need to revert back to 14.1 to try this module: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-disable-proximity-t2798887
i wonder if i need to go back to stock first (nougat) then flash the 14.1 build.

i've tried wiping data, cache, system, always stuck on LOS bootscreen. i'll try formatting data next time :)

The first boot of 14.1 takes a crazy long time iirc, like 10-30 minutes. Dont need to go back to stock or format data unless you went into security options and encrypted the phone.

I'm on the latest nightly for h918 baseband dec 7, 2016 and I've been having lots of issues with location services and signal strength on at&t. And the bluetooth mac address regularly messes up to aa:aa:aa:aa:aa:aa
Also, looks like the camera will only use the 8 megapixel camera instead of the 16 megapixel one?

not sure what to do other than trying 10u stock and see if the radio firmware update fixes it which as i understand I'll be stuck with once i upgrade

Assistance if possible

I did the LAFS exploit to install root+TWRP and even did the KDZ to 10p when I flashed the Unofficial LineageOS 14.1, I rebooted and it now blinks every once in a while and I cannot boot into recovery. Fastboot works but is not recognized by my PC :crying:

Edit:
Try to put the battery out of the phone for some time and if it does not help, try another pc/laptop with fastboot,-
maybe that will help, but i am not the "pro" here -_-

This is the right thread to ask it in, but as x86 said a while back, 14.1 will become discontinued soon and development focus has shifted mainly to 15.1, treble and (at some point) 16.x which is why the thread seems dead. Honestly, everyone in this thread would be best off upgrading to 15.1 considering you can do a dirty flash and it works fine, with no risk if you do a backup before. If you need a hand though, tagging x86cpu or anyone else that might be able to help is all you need to do.

which phone? this rom at least for me on my h918 only worked on arb0. 10p is arb1 which this rom does not support.

To get into twrp turn off the phone
Press volume down and power together until you see the lg boot screen
while keeping the volume down button release and press the power button again

Say yes to wiping the phone and it boots into reocovery - assuming your twrp partition is intact.

there is no full fastboot on these phones to boot into recovery from fastboot.

Otherwise use the kdz to restore your phone to stock using lgup. You may loose recovery and root if your phone is on arb1. You will only be able to restore stock to arb1 kdz.

kernel crashes when no phone signal ( h910 )

Hello

I flashed this rom on my h910 v10l 1st dec 2016 (flashed lastest Alpha rom v10v june 2018 on it first) yesterday.

All was good and nice (except for a "yellowish/brownish hue screen" (sorry for bad english)) but when I go to some spots with no phone signal the phone (kernel) crashes ...
I am going to try other roms (probably phr00t lineageos 15.1 with second screen first) to see if the same issue occurs ...

Thanks for this nice rom and your hard work anyway ! :good: :)

PS :
I am having same issue with phr00t lineageos 15.1 with second screen : I guess it might be a modem firmware issue ??? ... I am going to flash another stock rom newer than v10l to see if that fixes the issue ...

Are the 14.1 nightlies still updated with the newest security patches, or are they only builded without it (from a build-bot) from now on?

UPDATE:

I´ve flashed the newest us996 nightly today (lineage-14.1-20180902-nightly-us996-signed) and the newest security patch is in there (2018-08 / August 2018) and it seems running fine.

BTW.
2 days ago, vibration stops working completely... deleted cache/dalvik and tested many things more... no chance...
I´ve ordered a new vibration motor some minutes ago...
Someone else with the same issue here ?

Edit:
It really was a defective vibration motor. After i changed it with the new one some minutes ago, the vibration came back.

LiveDisplay - Time-Settings:

Is there a way to change the time (hour cycle) settings of "LiveDisplay" automatic mode?

Around 6am it changed to "day brightness", but i would change it, if possible, so that it changed to "day brightness" around 8am and to "night britness" around 8pm or 9pm...

In the phone settings i found NO way to change the hour cycle settings...

Anyone an idea ?

US996 Cellular can't flash lineageos

Hi folks, my V20 is US996 Cellular Unlocked. I couldn't get the bootloader unlocked the official way so I went through dirtysanta. Now I have twrp installed but am unable to install lineageos on the phone. I get the error:

Zip signature verification failed!
Error installing zip file '/external_sd/lineage-14.1..." (or 15.1 for that matter)

Can someone help me with what's going on, or what I should do? Thank you!

They started adding signature checking to the rom because too many people were bricking their phones by flashing the wrong rom. Is the phone on arb0 or arb1? This rom only works on arb0. You may need to look at the lineage 15.1 unofficial. There was an unofficial 14.1 build that worked on arb1 too.

There are quite a few posts awhile back that tell you which file you have to modify to get your phone added to hash that it checks before you flash it.

the second screen is more than likely rooted into LS's Framework (notifications) and not a public source. meaning to make it work like its current state will be more than adding a few apps.
    just my 2 cents

yeah i'm not even gonna try and bother emplementing its features i just want to disable it. i tried playing with the dts for the panel which i got the display to the right size but it messes up touch and hw overlays. wm overscan causes gltiches wm size bases its size off the center of the screen so to get everything out of the 160px 2nd screen you need to set it to 1400x2400 which isnt ideal and it causes glitches on rotation. my goal is to either A: fix the hw overlays then mod the touch driver to offset itself.. B: change wm overcan C: fix the scailing issues with the overscan option... been trying for days with Rashed but still nothing new..

got cam and ok google from any screen working though :)

Could you do a build of Beanstalk or Resurection Remix for T-Mobile? Or are those still far away?

I'm getting my device h918 tomorrow to join in the fun. I'll be officially maintaining for RR
    13
new builds posted. major updates... if you have issues do a full wipe... make a backup before flashing... should be good though. even though i havent released a build in almost a month ive been working every single day to get thsi phone closer to stable status... we are pretty much there minus a few things like volte and low video recording volume. I should be enabling lineage nigtlies sometime soon. (week or two) after that this thread will no longer be updated... Ive spent hours and hours and HOURs on this and although it was fun I have everything I need for a DD working and the donations arent really something to write home about. I will still be working on it but i might not take as much of a active role in the xda community part until a new los version like los 15 or something comes out. We have a few great devs in here who have forked my work and are in contact with me on probably a weekly, if not daily basis. Basically i'm just saying if i dont post for awhile dont worry. thats a good thing. that means the device is stable enough i can just allow the cm servers to build and i can maintain the functionality of what it is at this state by fixing new bugs that crop up (if they do) from new source merges) But honestly i'm getting ahead of myself the nightlies arent even going for v20 yet so....

    Enjoy the build guys.

let me know of any bugs if any
