I did the pre/install instructions, then rebooted to download mode, flash BL_ENG_BOOTLOADERS_G93*.tar, reboot to recovery, in recovery ran xxx_FlashSystem.cmd > the Error came up
Make sure your samsung drivers are updated. Make sure no other devices are plugged in to the computer. Maybe try a different cable or a different port on computer

You're installing a package meant only for the Flat S7 not edge. That is why it keeps failing.
well f*^k....that just sucks. anything similar for the edge variant? i've looked around a little and it doesn't seem like too much has been done with/for the edge. I've used the search function and can't find any guides even for flashing safestrap so i can at least de-bloat the carrier garbage. got the phone off ebay for a sing and prayer but the att branding is driving me batshit crazy.

I had this running perfectly till I had to do a full reinstall of firmware for network issues. Now I'm trying to reflash doing exact same steps but when trying to enter safestrap recovery it hangs on s7 boot screen ,Saying that there is no such file or recovery when reflashing and entering cre4 recovery

The ROM in the OP. I didn't realize it was for the flat s7 and not the edge variant. i have a brand spanking new s7 edge that i got for an extremely good deal. However.......it has all this att branding in it and it's making me crazy. If there's anything I can do to get safestrap on it so I could at least debloat the device it would be just absolutely lovely. This is the first new, relatively decent spec'd phone I've had in a while and I sooooooo want to mod the bejesus out of it. ( in retrospect I should have read more beforehand and gotten a pixel)

Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated!! Thanks!

Yes, I flashed the CRF1 first.Idk where I messed up if I did maybe didn't wipe cache when was supposed to. I bought this phone from AT&T but I switched carriers. The only carrier feature they offer is a visual voicemail app from google play that hasn't been updated for 2 years. They only offer VoWiFi and VoLTE to iPhone users. They do have a unlimited LTE roaming contract with T-Mobile though maybe I'll just run that instead

GCI, it's only in Alaska. "Best" unlimited data plan, albeit no wifi calling or volte (yet). I was told by one of their customer service technicians they're hoping to have it available for android users before the end of the year. They only sell XAA csc Samsung's now since the S8. Their S7's are G930F's and I'm so tempted to trade a local "fix your phone" guy for one lol. I'm not sure if they even still update their S7's or if they are the unlocked version. I only know that their S6's (G920i) which i got from my wife would have never seen it past 5.1.1 lollipop if I hadn't flashed nougat onto it but it was their own carrier brand firmware featured with a boot animation and everything haha. LMY47XG920IDVU2DOI2-GCI. I'm wondering how I'll get it to work on my S7 if and when they do release it
