CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.0 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Note: You need to flash the package right after you install the ROM. If you boot up and then go back and flash it, your phone won't boot/will cause unwanted FCs.

I am facing SetupWizard FC
Yes. This is a CM bug, and it keeps crashing. Kindly use the twrp filemanager to delete the SetupWizard!

open /system/priv-apps/setupwizard

It didn't worked for me bro . Crashes at setup wizard . I already deleted SetupWizard through TWRP . Do you tell how it worked for you

Perfect Solution to install this ROM

First wipe cache / delvik ...
Install cm 14 ROM
Then in twrp recovery go to mount and click on System
Then go back and go to advanced > System > Prev-app> Cyanogensetup wizard ( not setup wizard!! Its an cyanogen setup wizard)
Delete cyanogen setup wizard folder
Then install gapps
Then go to again in advanced > System > Prev-app> setup wizard
Now delete setup wizard named folder
That's it
Note that home and recent buttons can't work properly
Only back button works plz dev. Fix it :laugh:

Install CyanogenMod 14 Nougat on yuphoria and go to File manager (TWRP) and delete cyanogenmod setup wizard folder and reboot to system
