OmniROM is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.1.x (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance, reliability and features over stock Android for your device. It's also about options, which is the beauty of Android.

OmniROM is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts.

Installation Instructions:
=================
First time installing OmniROM to your Moto E, or coming from another ROM:
- Read known issues and FAQs
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery/Team Win Recovery Project - WITH SELINUX SUPPORT!
- Copy GApps and OmniROM ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Flash OmniROM zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!

Note: As you all know omni is pure caf with slight modifications.After a lot of struggle I managed to make it boot.But many stuffs are broken.......And this is not intended for daily use until for some more time......I request the guys here to work with me by providing logs and reporting bugs.But please don't ask for ETA ;P

I did not want this, I think omnirom has a very slow development, it is almost a pure patch of android KitKat AOSP, what I wanted I did in my rom, merge what I liked best of all roms, achieving performance impeccable.

You can still use it in xt1022 the problem will be that only one Sim card signal will work, that's the only difference between xt1022 and xt1021. And yes, it's kit kat, which is kinda disappointing.
