Flashed last beta 20211115 build.
In the coming days i' ll use and check the rom.
I already knew lineage os, it' s really nice to run it on daisy.
I noticed that, even if wifi connection works fine, the ota updater says that the updates check is failed, check the connection and try later.
The verify date stuck on 19700101, also the present shown date is incorrect, November 15th.
The system time/date is ok instead.
Actually not a problem for me since i' m used to manually update roms.
Just wanted to report this.
Don' t know if it s a known issue.

I am using this Lineage OS on a Mi A2 (daisy) phone and Wi-Fi Calling works perfectly. However I've tried various builds of LOS on a Mi A1 (tissot) phone and Wi-Fi Calling does not work.

It is mostly a developer thing, depends on who the developer is. It is on them to commit things on github

what's in the update on nov 29, I see nothing on the changelog so...
I've done the latest OTA update, but the notification light is on continuously i.e. not flashing.Working with standard Messaging apps, not with google one
Nothing major as most things already owrk in the ROM. Google publishes security patches every month and these are incorporated into the updates.
Brilliant work! Starting from the Magisk rooted 20210906 release the 20211126 OTA appeared in the updater, Original image restored by Magisk 23, then 20211126 OTA downloaded and installed with no restart, rebooted by Magisk to inactive (updated) slot. Enthusiastic about Magisk and TWRP retained, everything is working fine. Contrary to #662 and #669 hotspot works as long as there are clients in the WiFi network, wake-up works best if tapping is done soft and tender (important for me cause my power-on key is deteriorating/worn out).

3Sorry, I realised that I forgot about the april update, anyhow, I'm working on the May one. Could someone test the May update out? The link is here: https://transfer.sh/5BPBgm/lineage-18.1-20220517-UNOFFICIAL-daisy.zip . It it works fine, you can keep on using it as it will get June's OTA when that comes around. Again, thanks in advance for anyone who is willing to test this build and provide feedback.1
This method worked for me. You cna update or not, it doesn't really make a difference. All in all backup in all cases to be sure.1

I dont know if it was this Rom Update or Updating opengapps with it what fixed a weird error where I didnt receive push notifications in one banking App I'm using.
One problem I'm having is that YouTube seems to buffer more frequently when listening through bluetooth (mi true wirless earbuds Basic 2) but this problem was present in all releases maybe it's the earbuds themselves dunno. Edit: just did a quick research seems to be a common problem with some devices that WiFi slows down while Bluetooth devices are connected so definetly not rom related issue.
other than that I can confirm rtfmguy's statement and have not encountered any problems so far. thanks for this update -

LineageOS 18.1 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11/R, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. - Download the latest build from here
- Download LinkBoi00's version of TWRP here
- Reboot to bootloader (adb reboot bootloader)
- Fastboot into TWRP recovery (fastboot boot twrp*.img)
- Do a factory reset in TWRP
- Flash the latest build of Lineage OS
- Boot into your new phone
Most of us will want the basic functionality like Google Play, Maps and others, therefore I recommend downloading Gapps. You choose your own, but I recommend OpenGapps. They are among the few that can survive OTA updates.
If you do this, I recommend booting into the new LineageOS first, then reboot to recovery, do a factory reset and then only flash the gapps. If you don't do this, the gapps won't install properly

This is a follow-up to the Lineage 17.1 ROM that I was working on. You cannot just upgrade from it to this via the system updater, you have to go through the process above. As said before, this is mostly possible due to Lyceris-chan, go support him. If you have any errors or questions feel free to ask in the thread. As for official status, might happen, probably not, I don't have enough time to make the push. As for MicroG, I plan to publish a build too, keep an eye out on xda. If you know what this is, then feel free to install it. This is the same ROM as above, but "debloated" of Google Services that are replaced with open-source alternatives. It mainly works the same, but most daily users will prefer the "normal version". This ROM has its own separate OTA engine, so it should receive updates over it too. You can download it here. The install process is very similar, just don't install Gapps at the end.
