When you say "clean fresh install" do you mean format data / system / cache as I have tried that. Also the camera works fine when loaded.

Hello enotar

I have followed the OP several times. Wiped all partitions and formatted data partition. The camera has the error during setup when setting up biometrics every time.

Strange! Did you factory reset?
What frmware are you comming from?
What tablet do you have?
Did you finnish setup completely, check your status bar.
Does camera works alone, no biometrics?
I got face recognition and it works perfectly.
Try wiping cache and dalvik after flsshing rom.
And if that doesnt work and whiling to try this reflash TF5 with odin, use CSC not Home CSC. Reboot, verify OEM is unlocked, finnish setup, flash TWRP, disabler, kernel and magisk, reboot, finish setup and go back to recovery, wipe data, factory reset, clean all but external sd card. Flash rom rest and finish setup.
Keep me posted.

What tablet do you have? T-830

Hello enotar. Sorry for the late reply, I've been very busy. I have re-flashed with the results in BOLD above. But no change.

I will try the ODIN route at a later date, but I'm happy to just use a pin as the rom is running so well and I don't want to waste any more of your time if I'm the only one reporting this.

Read OP and you lose data because you will format data so backup.

Nothing has been touched on phone software. Should be Hardware Tests that have been debloated. Well this is a debloat version as clean as possible.

I understand that its been debloated and Im thankful for everything! I was just curious if there was a simple way to use that one specific feature. Im also having the camera/face unlock not working, but considering that everything else is great Ive just been using a pin unlock. I was on Android 9 rooted before flashing the rom, and I followed your directions exactly and made sure to wipe everything. Im assuming the face unlock issues are only happening to people coming from Android 9 that was rooted before flashing this rom.

So am I to assume this wonderful ROM is no longer going to receive updates? At least the security patches should be updated as they are released. Even Samsung is doing that much. Just asking because if it is dead in the water then I am going back to stock and will debloat it myself.

Not dead. Waiting a little more on OneUI 2.5 to show up. And maybe an aroma version but still issue on digitizer with Aroma.
As you can understand there is a patch every one or two weeks so better wait for a bigger update and our tablet is schedule to get One UI 2.5
If not we will update with last firmware availlable..

I just wanna say that i thoroughly enjoy this rom and everything that it currently offers. Can't wait until a new update comes out, hopefully with even more optimizations and a bigger debloat.

Will start with thanking you for all your work on this device. It is really appreciated! :good::good::good:

Haven't had time to try out the rom yet, but it's coming soon. And i am hopefull when i read all the comments.
I am a fan of this type of roms, stock, but with as little crap as possible.

You wrote you wanted ideas, so if i might wish for something it would be the stock rom with only the bare minimum, stripped of all samsung and google crap, and only S NOTE and DEX. Then if ppl want something on it, there is always apkmirror..

But I have 2 questions..
1/ Do I need to flash the WETA kernel separately or is it already in the ROM
2/ I have weird dots all over the Iris Scanner. Can this be fixed?

1/ Glad the Kernel is included.
2/ Myself, like others, have tried reflash to fix Iris / face authorize bug. Reflash doesn't fix, bug remains. For now I just use pincode. Could it be because Magisk fails SafetyNet check?

Absolutely no issue with Irises here. Works perfectly 100% of the time, really fast. Something in you flashing process or settings is not right.

Been a while since I used my T835. It's still on android 9 so I'm due to make the move to 10.

Was just going to flash the official ROM but glad I checked here first. Thanks for this - will be trying it this week!
