Sorry, I didn't understand the instructions that's why I am asking how to.. Sorry, I am new to this.
Yes you need to flash the ROM zip in the recovery of your choice, TWRP/Orangefox etc. If you are dirty flashing, in the recovery, first Wipe Cache, Dalvik/ART cache and System followed by flashing the ROM, GApps and/or Magisk if any. This will preserve your apps but it's still recommended to backup your apps beforehand. I use Swift Backup which works exceedingly well. In case of a clean flash you need to wipe the Data partition (NOT internal storage) in addition which gets rid of all installed apps. Do not wipe the internal storage.
Disable Magisk modules if any before attempting a dirty flash as otherwise it can potentially lead to bootloops.

There's also the OTA update way but I have never tried it.

Does this rom supports OTA updates? Also, will I get any problems if I dirty flashes the update?

Moving from RR Android 10 I couldn't decided on Havoc or crDroid. After trying both crDroid is clearly further along. Been using for a day now and has a huge selection of customisations and seems nice and stable. Thank you.

I already flashed it but with one problem. It seems that Fast charging doesn't work properly. I use a 18w QC-capable charger. It's maximum speed of charging are on 11w but only for a matter of seconds.
I have no issues in 11-12W being sustained for long periods. Could have been higher as I had limited max. charging current to 2.8A.

Hello, anyone here has a work-around for scoped storage here in crdroid? Aethersx2, a ps2 emulator, can't seem to access the internal storage.

Hello, I've done a completely clean install of this build as I wanted to try degoogling my device. Everything seems to be working fine except for two things:

1. As I've mentioned before, when the phone is first turned on, long pressing quick settings tiles, or pressing quick settings shortcuts causes the System UI to crash. Weirdly, after about 5 minutes, they start to work normally. Very strange.

Log: https://paste.crdroid.net/kDC9jn

EDIT: I've discovered that this occurs when I hide the navigation bar via CrDroid settings.

2. When I make or receive a phone call and use the speakerphone/loudspeaker function, people can't hear me. This happens in every app I've tested. When I turn off speakerphone, they can hear me normally.

I checked permissions and everything is normal. I've tried multiple clean installs, to no avail.

This is frustrating, as it means I can't safely use my phone while driving.

    Encrypt data
As crDroid doesn't enforce encryption, you'll have to flash a special flashable zip in recovery in order to run encrypted
    Please follow steps below

Warning Warning Warning --- This works only on clean flash
    1. Flash crDroid.zip in recovery
    2. Mount vendor partition in recovery (for some reason is not mounting with newer TWRP)
    3. Flash encrypt zip
    4. Reboot to system

    Note:
The encrypt zip needs to be flashed after every update
So flash crDroid zip and follow with encrypt zip

    Note2:
Recovery that is able to decrypt data is required in order to see data while booted to recovery
    Official TWRP should be alright
