[ROM][Android 11][BERYLLIUM] crDroid v7.15 [20.02.2022]

It is a well known problem present in LineageOS, crDroid, AICP and ArrowOS (maybe more). Until it gets resolved, I have turned off automatic brightness.

I got a hint on telegram to use the app
Brightness control

Go to settings in app, then global. Enable auto brightness and set the slider to 20

Bugs what I've noticed so far
1) This rom is not yet optimised for notch cut out
(Eg: if turn on your dnd, vibrate mode, vpn or anything that has to do with your status bar. It hides your network and wifi. I like how miui does, miui just displays it above notification bar i.e when you pull down your notification bar)
2) Whenever i use this inbuild screen recorder, it doesn't recognise my external microphone. It uses my phone's microphone instead. ( Whenever i select audio source = device audio and microphone)
3) Also thermal profile doesn't do a ****. Gaming performance is still crap.



So far i loved this rom, rest everything is good. I like insane amount of customizations it offers, good ass battery backup, almost stock like experience. Loved it !! <3

Have you tried setting the Thermal Profile to Dynamic (Evaluation) under Kernel Settings >Miscellaneous in FKM? I don't know about gaming but it fixes CPU thermal throttling albeit at the cost of a few degrees higher temps. Otherwise once it hits 35°C or so (battery temp. ) the big cores are throttled down to 1.8-2GHz and occasionally even lower.
Dual Statusbar module is worth a try for the notch situation.

Hello awesom work, device is poco f1 crdroid 7.7 rooted with magisk 23, nikigapps core, using built in android 11 biometric apps lock on telegram for example(not telegram built in biometric lock), when clicking on any telegram link in browsers to join groups, it asks for biometric authentication for 1 sec and disappeared, i had to manually open telegram and authenticate first, then go to the link from chrome, the issue extended to any locked app when they r called from another apps etc,
When locking google photo with fingerprint from apps lock under security and taking partial screen shot from google chrome, when trying to access the photo from notification, it asks for authentication for 1 sec and disappeared before successfully authenticate
ANOTHER EXAMPLE
locking facebook app with fingerprint, when trying to open bose app and loging in bose app via facebook, it asks for fingerprint auth for just under a sec and disappeared, the only way i have to open facebook and authenticate first then going to bose app and sign in via facebook, as long as the time out for locking again hasn't expired

Update to the latest build! Several bugs fixed and new features added. I had even dirty flashed for the first time ever while upgrading from 7.6 to 7.7 and no random reboots till date. Maybe check after disabling Magisk modules if any.

I've experienced the same problem, newly flashed rom then random reboots., finally it even reboots even in twrp when flashing and formatting phone.
Then I changed my phone battery and problem solved.

In 7.7 I have noticed the display flickering at minimum brightness. Doesn't seem to matter if auto brightness is on/off. If the brightness is increases a little the flickering is gone.

I've been having these wakelocks constantly that aren't letting my phone sleep, let alone deep sleep. It's seems usb related. Logs are attached & a ss of wakelocks. Pls, give me a solution.

This is only a recent development? In my case I first noticed more than a year ago. While they did result in higher than normal idle drain Deep Sleep was still in in 85-90% range. I couldn't find any solution. So I just keep them blocked. "otg-default" isn't an issue at my end and anyway it seemingly can't be blocked. With all the wakelocks blocked and in 2G-only mode and all other radios off, idle drain is still pretty ordinary at 0.5-0.8%/h. Deep Sleep over 99%.
I keep these wakelocks blocked including a few that are blocked by default.
