The screen brightness suddenly increases to maximum, even when auto brightness is disabled. This drains the battery 3x faster.
Does anyone else have this issue or know any possible fixes?

- Added toast notification toggle for apps accessing clipboard (crDroid Settings -> Misc)
- Added Updates channel link to crDroid Settigs -> About (get info on when ROM updates are posted)
- Fixed force close on app info panel
- Fixed "Restrict background data" to also restrict activity on wifi

OK, after a day later the lockscreen weather is working.

Lockscreen weather isn't working on Build 20210509, it's fine on the Build 20210430.
Clean flash Build 20210509 and toggle weather off and on again in lockscreen under crdroid settings also didn't help.

Since yesterday I have noticed a couple of times the display flickering for a few seconds usually after unlocking. Also the display randomly getting brighter with Adaptive Brightness disabled. I had set it up in Tasker so that AB will be enabled during day time when display is on and again disabled after 10s. No issues whatsoever in 6.x. Upgraded to 7.5 less than 2 weeks ago.
Also crDroid launcher is using upwards of 1.3GB RAM. After a reboot it obviously goes down but steadily keeps climbing up. I have to reboot almost every day or so to free up memory. Is it a memory leak?

is there fullscreen navigation gesture for this ROM? I'm used to have no navigation bar on my screen but I can't find the setting to enable the gesture.

edit: nvm I found it.

No UI for incoming call alert, I was not able to pick up the phone. When tapped on call button, there was no UI but call connected.
I clean flashed latest build with Nik Gapps core. Latest official TWRP recovery. No magisk.

Also, how to enable "Hey Google". It works when I flash Stock Nik Gapps, but with the recommended core Gapps, what I am missing here?

Any help would be appreciated.

Clear phone app cache and storage and set as default phone app.

For Hey Google using nikgapps core, install the nikgapps velvet addon.

Last time I checked the rom didnt have wifi data usage in status bar/notification, it only had mobile data usage.
Is it still the same?

Faced two bugs in latest build.
1.Wifi isn't automatically connecting after reboot.
2.Auto brightness is set to low after reboot.

    Flashing Instructions:

    Pre-installation:

    First time installation:
    • Backup your data to PC, OTG flash drive
    • Flash recovery and boot to recovery
    • Wipe system, data, cache and format data, then reboot to recovery
    • Copy crDroid and Gapps to internal memory then flash them in TWRP in same order
    • Reboot and enjoy :)
    • *Optional reboot again after first boot to flash Magisk for root

    Update installation:
    • Boot to recovery and make a backup
    • Wipe system and cache
    • Flash updated crDroid and Gapps (and Magisk if you had this as root method)
    • Reboot and enjoy :)


    Do note that crDroid doesn't encrypt your device, so there is no need to flash DFE or any similar stuff that can cause issues!

    Encrypt data
    As crDroid doesn't enforce encryption, you'll have to flash a special flashable zip in recovery in order to run encrypted
    Please follow steps below

    Warning Warning Warning --- This works only on clean flash
    1. Flash crDroid.zip in recovery
    2. Mount vendor partition in recovery (for some reason is not mounting with newer TWRP)
    3. Flash encrypt zip
    4. Reboot to system

    Note:
    The encrypt zip needs to be flashed after every update
    So flash crDroid zip and follow with encrypt zip

    Note2:
    Recovery that is able to decrypt data is required in order to see data while booted to recovery
    Official TWRP should be alright
