Hello, firstly thank you for creating and maintaining an excellent ROM.

I would like to report some visual defects upon using some apps like Google Maps and Dialer (no matter the dialer app used). While in call, the dialer screen goes haywire, as if zooming in infinite times. The same happens when using Google Maps but just briefly.

I am running the latest TWRP, the latest crDroid release and the latest Kirisakura kernel. I have attached a photo, taken from another device, as I am unable to screen capture from affected device while it is occurring. I do not have a logcat dump at the moment, but let me know if it would help.

Is anyone here rocking a custom kernel with this rom? Whats everyone's go-to? I am planning on trying Dora Kernel. Has anyone here tried it? If so, your experiences? Thanks in advance.

I suspected it was the kernel. This post was found.

I will forego the visual artifacts for the improved performance of the kernel, though, along with its inherent ability to tweak various settings.

For anyone suffering low media and ringtone volume, give reiryuki's dolby atmos magisk modules a go. Way better result than what viper4android will ever be able to bring. Find it on github. Go between Razor or ZTE (I went with ZTE).

It's not a bug. It's a part of A11. Google integrated it so users know when there's an app using your location. If the icon is a nuisance to you, go to your crDroid Settings > Status Bar Icons > Location toggle. As for the accessibility icon, I don't believe there's a way to get rid of it. It must be a Waze setting because on Google Maps, the accessibility icon doesn't appear

Which kernel do you guys recommend for better battery life ? I tried this rom, PE, LOS and OOS(all A11 versions) and battery life sucks since I changed from A10. I only had good battery on CrDroid build 20210713 but that changed after new updates and even after going back to that build battery still drains fast. I always do clean install (full wipe) with every rom. I'm also on newest 11.0.2.1 firmware. Any recommendations for better battery ?

If you don't like the answer, try it yourself. No problem with fps.
