Yes I did it by fastboot with the latest TWRP and even with an older one that worked before and I still get stuck in the fastboot logo.. It is not a huge deal to get it rooted but it would be nice so I can use titanium backup.
I loaded CR via LOS it's just sideloading.

LOS Recovery isn't that bad, it isn't TWRP but it works if you have a pc.

As I see there are few of you that have issues flashing newer OOS 11 firmware, I considered to change update steps as on LOS.
Seems to work fine and will also preserve TWRP.
So please follow below steps to update from crDroid 7.4 to crDroid 7.5.
This tutorial will update your firmware to latest OOS 11.0.0.2 based on global version (EU version will work also, however not sure about T-Mobile).

    1. Download firmware files (Telegram mirror) & lineage-recovery
    2. Reboot to bootloader and run below command
    Code:
    fastboot flash boot <recovery_filename>.img

    #example: fastboot flash boot lineage-18.1-20210425-recovery-guacamole.img
    3. In LOS recovery, go to “Advanced” -> “Enter fastboot” and run following commands in same order
    Code:
    fastboot flash --slot=all abl abl.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all aop aop.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all bluetooth bluetooth.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all cmnlib64 cmnlib64.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all cmnlib cmnlib.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all devcfg devcfg.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all dsp dsp.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all hyp hyp.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all keymaster keymaster.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all LOGO LOGO.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all modem modem.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all oem_stanvbk oem_stanvbk.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all qupfw qupfw.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all storsec storsec.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all tz tz.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all xbl_config xbl_config.img
    fastboot flash --slot=all xbl xbl.img
    fastboot reboot

Now simply follow clean flash instructions from opening post.

Thanks for your instructions, but sadly i get the following error when trying to flash the images:
    Code:
fastboot: error: Could not check if partition abl has slot all

I updated to newest fastboot binarys without effect, so what am i missing?
    Thanks in advance

Run same command to slot a and b manually
So replace "all" with "a" and then same with "b"

Coulda sworn locking a recent app was added somewhere in the changelog? How do we lock a recent app? Or did I misinterpret said changelog lol

EDIT: OOS camera and gallery were removed? I flashed with Nik gapps core, I have AOSP camera?

Since you don't have TWRP am guessing you are encrypted already
    In this case do following

    1. Download LOS recovery
    https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/re.../lineage-18.1-20210418-recovery-guacamole.img
    2. Now boot to fastboot and run
    Code:
    fastboot --set-active=a
    3. Flash LOS recovery
    Code:
    fastboot flash boot lineage-18.1-20210418-recovery-guacamole.img
    4. Now tap Factory Reset, then Format data / factory reset and continue with the formatting process
    5. Reboot to fastboot and do
    Code:
    fastboot --set-active=b
    6. Flash LOS recovery
    Code:
    fastboot flash boot lineage-18.1-20210418-recovery-guacamole.img
    7. Format data again and reboot to fastboot
    8. Now download all files from below link (this is extracted crDroid payload.bin - if you know how to use python, can also extract it from latest crDroid zip and help of attached zip)
    https://mega.nz/folder/FhUzFCzI#5RoeaGORbfJ1ye68tdZw3A
    9. Do following steps in fastboot
    Code:
    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
    fastboot flash odm odm.img
    fastboot flash system system.img
    fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
    fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
Note when flashing vbmeta, you may not see progress, so let it flash for like 2 minutes and just run fastboot reboot bootloader to continue flashing vendor
    10. From fasbtoot menu, use keys to reboot to system

Once booted to crDroid, you'll be without Gapps and TWRP so lets fix this
    1. Install latest Magisk apk
    2. Put your boot.img that you downloaded above (or extracted) in your internal storage
    3. Open up Magisk and click on top most install button
    4. Choose "Select and patch a file", select the boot.img from internal storage and click blue top right "Lets go" text
    5. You should now have a magisk patched boot image saved at /Download/magisk_patched_xxx.img
    6. Save this file on your PC and reboot to fastboot
    7. Flash this file in fastboot
    Code:
    fastboot flash boot magisk_patched_xxx.img
    8. Reboot to system
    9. Download latest TWRP installer zip and save it to internal storage on phone
    10. Now we have root, so open up Magisk app again and navigate to Modules tab and click on "Install from storage" and from here choose TWRP.zip
    11. Now you have TWRP so you can maybe proceed with installing clean from TWRP (as you should have in the first place - see opening post install clean steps)

    I also get
    Code:
fastboot: error: Could not check if partition abl has slot all" so I replace "all" with "a" and "b"'

    then I get this error

    Code:
Warning: abl does not support slots, and slot a was requested.
    Sending 'abl' (2112 KB) OKAY [ 0.055s]
    Writing 'abl
FAILED (remote: 'Flashing is not allowed for Critical Partitions
    ')
    fastboot: error: Command failed
    '

I have the Tmobile Oneplus 7 Pro maybe that could be the problem? I always use the global OOS and atm I'm running the previous crDroid.

Try updating the firmware by booting OOS 11 once
Make sure you follow tutorial from here by the word
Flashing that disable encryption is mandatory, make sure you don't forget doing it

Follow the flashing instructions for Lineage OS up to flashing Lineage OS and replace Lineage OS with CRdroid 7.5 zip by sideloading it instead of Lineage and you'll get it working from LoS recovery. I am also on T-Mobile I jumped from 11.0.0.2 to CR 7.5 this way no issues.

Needs google app to be system app
For flamegapps use google search addon or for nikgapps, velvet addon
Velvet addon from where? No idea what your talking about. I do apologize any help would be tremendous your rom is the most stable 11 droid rom for my phone. It's more stable then 11.0.0.2 where I have screen flickers and the screen resizing on home screen crashing etc. It was terrible.

Hey guys, not sure if any of you are interested but I made a one click install for those of you that just one and done it lol.

    Steps are simple:

    1. Download from here
    2. Extract file into a separate folder
    3. Extract the "components.zip" into same folder
    4. Boot into bootloader
    5. Run the OneClick-Install.bat file
    6. Proceed to follow OP instructions

PLEASE NOTE: I personally not had the time to try this myself but it will work. If anyone willing to test, let me know the results :)

    1. Setting -> Security -> App locker
    2. OOS Cam - read latest changelog
The app locker here is to lock certain apps from being able to be opened right? I'm talking about being able to lock a recent app so it doesn't close when I clear all recents, mostly for Spotify. When I clear all and it cuts my music off. Is that a crDroid feature or no?

As for the OOS camera, understood. Thanks!

How to flash this CrDroid rom without TWRP? I'm in Oxygen OS 11.0.0.2 and don't have TWRP. I can't install TWRP on Android 11. My english is not good, Sorry about that
Since you don't have TWRP am guessing you are encrypted already
      In this case do following

      1. Download LOS recovery
      https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/re.../lineage-18.1-20210418-recovery-guacamole.img
      2. Now boot to fastboot and run
      Code:
      fastboot --set-active=a
      3. Flash LOS recovery
      Code:
      fastboot flash boot lineage-18.1-20210418-recovery-guacamole.img
      4. Now tap Factory Reset, then Format data / factory reset and continue with the formatting process
      5. Reboot to fastboot and do
      Code:
      fastboot --set-active=b
      6. Flash LOS recovery
      Code:
      fastboot flash boot lineage-18.1-20210418-recovery-guacamole.img
      7. Format data again and reboot to fastboot
      8. Now download all files from below link (this is extracted crDroid payload.bin - if you know how to use python, can also extract it from latest crDroid zip and help of attached zip)
      https://mega.nz/folder/FhUzFCzI#5RoeaGORbfJ1ye68tdZw3A
      9. Do following steps in fastboot
      Code:
      fastboot flash boot boot.img
      fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
      fastboot flash odm odm.img
      fastboot flash system system.img
      fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
      fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
Note when flashing vbmeta, you may not see progress, so let it flash for like 2 minutes and just run fastboot reboot bootloader to continue flashing vendor
      10. From fasbtoot menu, use keys to reboot to system

Once booted to crDroid, you'll be without Gapps and TWRP so lets fix this
      1. Install latest Magisk apk
      2. Put your boot.img that you downloaded above (or extracted) in your internal storage
      3. Open up Magisk and click on top most install button
      4. Choose "Select and patch a file", select the boot.img from internal storage and click blue top right "Lets go" text
      5. You should now have a magisk patched boot image saved at /Download/magisk_patched_xxx.img
      6. Save this file on your PC and reboot to fastboot
      7. Flash this file in fastboot
      Code:
      fastboot flash boot magisk_patched_xxx.img
      8. Reboot to system
      9. Download latest TWRP installer zip and save it to internal storage on phone
      10. Now we have root, so open up Magisk app again and navigate to Modules tab and click on "Install from storage" and from here choose TWRP.zip
      11. Now you have TWRP so you can maybe proceed with installing clean from TWRP (as you should have in the first place - see opening post install clean steps)
