The dialer doesn not work. At least i cannot see if somebody calls me, i just hear the ringtone... Any fix or tip?

EDIT: Switching to Google Dialer fixes the problem

For others experiencing this issue, can you test something and let me know if it resolves the issue? By default, google play services seems to have some permissions denied and enabling them, phone permissions specifically, seems to resolve the issue for me. Try finding play services in your app settings and allowing it access to phone services.

I haven't had any dialer issues, and it looks like my Google Play Services has all of its permissions enabled, if that helps at all (it's not exactly what you asked, but I figured it might be useful to know)

Im only experiencing positive on the latest. Of course I disabled things like messages,dialer,music,contacts apps and replaces them with google messages,contacts and dialer and a music app of my choice. Haven't received any calls yet but outgoing calls work well. Everything else has been smooth.
OOS cam would complete this ROM. Its smooth and battery isn't too bad at all

So a day in and battery life us great. Starting to see stutters and jank now. Had a couple minor freezes in UI. Hopefully IG doesn't get worse cause I'm liking it

I have seen no stutters and jank. Can you be more specific? Apps affected and whatnot, maybe logs when you notice it happening?

Also could be that I'm using Nova launcher. It doesnt seem as smooth as the launcher it comes with

I am also using nova. If you do notice lots of slowdown and are frustrated, consider sending me a copy of the logs around the time it happens. Otherwise, glad you're enjoying!

- Sigma Kernel: Upstreamed to v5.4.132 (theirs was 134)
- Sigma Kernel: Undo inlining of kernel modules

just finished flashing. Dont like how you cant restore from google. Thats my issue so far. will test drive till tomorrow and see.

I used nikgapps canary omni so I could restore and I have not had any problems.

Yes, I am rooted and you can too. You can extract the boot.img from the payload.bin in the crdroid zip, move that to your device, and root normally with magisk. If having issues, I may be able to provide the boot.img from this build later on.

if so, you are my heroes. i love selecting the version of gapps i want and no local updating was major issue.

Yes, however I have only tested NikGapps Core Canary so far. Feel free to test others and report your results. The OTA works as far as I can tell for built in updates.

i played with the latest release for OP9 all day yesterday. my indecisiveness paired with nikgapps surprising amount of options was a lot. at first i went omni for least as much of google id need to keep cloud backups (i dont know why i like it either) but i quickly decided i wanted simulate a pixel fro hold-for me, then my voicemail wasn't working so i spent too much time wondering how i broke that.

im hardly on the phone and never listen to emails. really showing my level of stupidity and poos time management skills. my

the camera is still too bright and impossible to scan my hardware wallets qr-codes. ill try to find a answer but tis been an issue since i bought the9. poor focusing paired with white balance issues

my usb C-to-C wouldn't connect to my computer either. A-to_C cords would tho, no big eal

i installed buds and assumed i successfully brought it over, not realizing you put it in the ROM. that put a grin on my face

Only things I had issues with was Android/OOS related. my system icon always turns into a bluetooth symbol anytime i run a ROM on the 9 (maybe a ASOP based issue, idk, just weird, lol) and for almost 2 years straight now, no apps support show in full-screen mode.

TL;DR Runs great, the safest way i de bloated/customized was with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=balti.migrate&hl=en_US&gl=US zips made every so ofern and backup to my NAS.
The De-bloater that is on IzzyonDroid (Aurora Droid) has improved so much and now is my favorite solution to policy based de-bloating that can be easily reversed with a magisk removal in safe mode.


best Op9 ROM / OS experience out. Not a huge list to beat but the anti flicker, kernel use, anti flicker, 120mzh support, OTAs, GApps being users choice...i could just list the things that pleasantly surprised me all day. Amazing Work

I have a few questions/concerns/

My phone is a US/Global Variant of OP9, Model LE2116AA. On crDroid, it is reflecting a LE2113 which i believe is EU. Unaware if that should be a concern or not.

In the switch apps section, I am unable to pin apps for dual display or keeping certain apps locked from clear all commands. at first i assumed it just want supported in crDroid but I see the first icon which looks like a resizable window and clicking it does nothing. I have freeform settings enabled in development tools and couldnt see any option in crDroid specific settings. Either way, I am guessing that is meant for dual app screen display usage. Is this a known issue or did I miss something? belo

- Added ADB on/off toggle to game mode (some games check for adb status apprently)
- Add toggle for 60Hz refresh rate on battery saver
- Added option to instantly/15 seconds/screen off lock app on closing for AppLocker (Settings -> Security -> App locker)
- crDroid Music: Fixed replaying same song if Repeat is off and Skip button is pressed while on the last song in the list
- Fixed some issue with lockscreen clock
- Some more different changes to stability
- Updated FreeType to 2.11.0
- Updated translations
- Changed to monthly build type temporarily
