I'm sure this has been asked somewhere before, but what's the best way to back up my current LineageOS setup if I want to restore my settings after installing CRDroid?

Been trying to update the rom and once it reboots it goes to the bootloader. Once there I have to fastboot to b partition again and it's not been updated. Not sure what I am doing wrong yet.

not that I know of
GCam is the default cam
Other places I looked said that GCAM has Google Lens integration, which does support QR Codes, and when I open the camera I notice that there is an option to turn on Google Lens in the settings. Is this a known bug in CRdroid's version of Gcam? For other users, what do you typically use to read QR codes? Almost every device I've owned prior to this had a QR reader integrated into the default camera app, so it's not something I've ever had to deal with.

my suggestion is to use a standalone app just for that
personally I use QR/Barcode Scanner PRO

simply install in recovery, reboot to recovery to flash gapps and magisk (if you had them at least) and reboot to system
if boots to bootloader, means your other partition is broken, corrupt or some sort, and you'll need to return to OSS to both partitions and reinstall crDroid after

Is there anyway to reinstall the stock camera app on this rom? I've found the camera app APK, but it needs to be installed as root. How could I do that?

crDroid version: 7.11 (2021-10-24)

Whenever the Night Light function, which tints the screen amber, is turned on, the optical fingerprint reader embedded in the screen does not function properly; it rarely recognizes any of my fingerprints, and when it does only after multiple attempts. I believe the reason for this is that the "dot" which lights up when the reader is pressed has to be its original white, not some other hue, to work properly. I did not previously have this issue when I had LOS installed on my device, so I think it's an issue particular to CRDroid.

Just here to personally say thank you to the developers of this rom, for kick *ss performance, and absolutely no bugs so far, running it as daily driver for a week. On AnTuTu, number 5, worldwide, and I think I might get it to number 3 soon, lol.
Great work, OP!

But, how can I enable aptX and LDAC codecs? They are greyed out in developer settings.

I used option A on this thread and it got me going.
So, same thing we used to do back in the day still works.

After trying to install Lineage OS it failed to boot so i decided to Install crDroid and it's been great so far. My only issue with it is the stuttering when scrolling up or down in apps other than that It's the best custom rom for OP9Pro it's even better than oos.
