what build did you flash? make sure it's star2lte for s9+, also what gapps variant did you flash, make sure you're on stock vendor. No one reported me the issue you're facing, all s9+ users booted it.

This is for exynos version and won't work on snapdragon variant.

wow this ROM is sleek smooth, the UI is different than any other AOSP based ROM, and it brings some Android 12 touch too. Overall working good without any issue on my S9+. I hope this ROM have a long life for this device. Thanks Dev

I'm very impressed by this ROM. Only been using it for around 24 hours but things are looking very promising. I love the look and feel. Definitely a great take on Android. Far classier than what Google seems to be doing with Android 12...

One thing I have noticed (and this is not really so much a complaint as an observation as I am most grateful to be able to use this superb ROM!) is that there are often frame drops when scrolling vertically or horizontally. This appears not to be application specific as it is noticeable in the app switcher/overview and in the settings app. I suspect it has something to do with the choice of CPU govenor.

Some users reported using WhiteWolf kernel, they seems to have noticeably less lags, you can find it on xda.

Very good looking Rom, but
the button to encrypt phone is missing (yes, battery is full and phone plugged in).
Tried several installs, also with other kernels. It never appears.
With other roms I can start the encryption.

Congrats. few questions
How often do you plan to update it?
will be OTA?
I suppose it is Samsung based rather than AOSP, right?

By "Stock Vendor" do you mean stock rom?
So do I have to go back to stock rom first and then flash your rom?

Cheers mate. Running WhiteWolf now and it's immediately more responsive. Very noticeable difference. Hopefully it doesn't impact battery life too much. Noticed the different scheduler (schedutilX).
well I can confirm flashing WW kernel does make the rom more responsive despite in my usage with the compromise of battery life

simple question is yes, the easy way is you could download any custom rom like DevBase or Alexis ROM and take the vendor image from there and flash it on TWRP before flashing this ROM

    2
with stock rom you mean for example devbase from alexndr (android 10?)
and is a specific version of twrp recommended?
You can try, the flash requires Stock Samsung Oneui 2 - 2.5 (Android 10) Firmware in this case. (Bootloader + Vendor).
Rom like the one from Alex flashes our system / vendor partitions.

Anyway i think, if someone suggests Vendor Stock Rom it means you need restore the original software from your local mobile network.

Today I was installing dotOS on my S9 UK variant, and what i noticed a very nice stable system.

    SamFirm_Reborn to download Original Rom
    Odin
    Twrp 3.3.1-1 S9 starlte

Quickly and easily flashed stock rom, then TWRP and dotOS v5.x.
I personally suggest these types of options.
It's safe and good to renew the original software on your phone from time to time, a kind of refreshment :)
    Good luck buddy!

    Regards,
    Pal.
