Would just like to post and say thanks for this ^_^
I still actively use my S9 and don't plan to upgrade yet - so it's nice to bring a fresh breathe of life into it,

Thanks again ^_^

Yes I'm using whitewolf kernel. What kernel are u using and can u provide me a link to download it?
I'm on stock kernel myself,
Looking at the forums some people have been complaining about battery drain on that Kernel so it may be the issue?

My phone is pretty old now - so I imagine the battery life is never going to be the same back in its glory days :D, So I cant give advice with that :(

with stock rom you mean for example devbase from alexndr (android 10?)
and is a specific version of twrp recommended?
You can try, the flash requires Stock Samsung Oneui 2 - 2.5 (Android 10) Firmware in this case. (Bootloader + Vendor).
Rom like the one from Alex flashes our system / vendor partitions.

Anyway i think, if someone suggests Vendor Stock Rom it means you need restore the original software from your local mobile network.

Today I was installing dotOS on my S9 UK variant, and what i noticed a very nice stable system.

    SamFirm_Reborn to download Original Rom
    Odin
    Twrp 3.3.1-1 S9 starlte

Quickly and easily flashed stock rom, then TWRP and dotOS v5.x.
I personally suggest these types of options.
It's safe and good to renew the original software on your phone from time to time, a kind of refreshment :)
    Good luck buddy!

    Pal.

Hey, just installed the ROM a few days ago and loving it! It's very smooth and I really like how it bring some stuff from android 12, but had 2 problems. The first and biggest is that sometimes the audio of the phone slow down to the point where there are times it stops and then comes back, even though the media dindn't stop at any moment. This happened while hearing music and YouTube videos.
The 2 is that sometimes the notification tray would overlay the content on the screen, so I can't really see the notifications because of my background image.
Hope you can fix this 2 things and thanks in advance! ;)

Cheers mate. Running WhiteWolf now and it's immediately more responsive. Very noticeable difference. Hopefully it doesn't impact battery life too much. Noticed the different scheduler (schedutilX).
well I can confirm flashing WW kernel does make the rom more responsive despite in my usage with the compromise of battery life
By "Stock Vendor" do you mean stock rom?
So do I have to go back to stock rom first and then flash your rom?

simple question is yes, the easy way is you could download any custom rom like DevBase or Alexis ROM and take the vendor image from there and flash it on TWRP before flashing this ROM
