Flashing Instructions:

Pre-installation:

• TWRP (Download from here)
• Magisk 20.3 or newer for root (after first boot) - (Download from here)

First time installation:

• Copy crDroid zip to your device
• Boot into Recovery
• Flash ROM
• Flash magisk (optional)

But one thing, mic volume is very low in instagram for some reason. Works on every other rom I've used

If I want to try without gapps how would I do it? When I flash the ROM it first backs up then restores gapps. Is there an option to not restore?

I use the Windows App ADB AppControl: Flash the Rom, go to the initial Setup activate the Developer Settings and activate USB-Debugging. After this connect your Phone with the Computer and start ADB AppControl. Now you can see all Apps on your PC and delete or deactivate the Gapps related. But one thing, mic volume is very low in instagram for some reason. Works on every other rom I've used

if you enable ok google detection then mic gain will drop across all other apps that use mic. you can analyse this using a audio spectrum app. this used to happen in my old phone as well. miui handles this well as it cuts off frequencies only above 15khz but custom roms not so well.

Yes, I get best charge rates from unbranded chargers. My Xiaomi charger shows rapid charge 2000mA, then immediately drops to slow 50mA. My Anker power bank does similar, starting at 2500mA then down to 50mA though it may show higher rates like 500mA for a minute before dropping. At least, this is what the lock screen battery info shows.

Update: I find that charge rate reported while using my factory Xiaomi charger varies, and the initial low charge rate rises during charging period, so some optimising must be happening.

ROM 7.14 is awesome so far, but the touch issue's when it thinks you hold it longer is very annoying, hope the dev can fix it

Hey guys I think I soft-bricked my sweet.

Yesterday, Google Pay randomly stopped working. It worked fine for 6 months using Magisk and magiskhidepropsconfig, but after updating to Magisk 24.0 it didn't.
I tried the sqlite fix thing, it didn't work, so I uninstalled the module and rebooted. The phone never booted again.
I had a twrp backup from 7.13 before updating to 7.14, so I tried restoring it (first wiped). It didn't work. Phone booted to the PHONE IS STARTING loading bar but never went past it.
Then I tried clean flashing 7.13, formatting data and then restoring the backup on top of it. This didn't work either.
I now can't even clean flash 7.13 or 7.14, because I get "! Cannot find Magisk binaries - was data wiped or not decrypted? ! Reflash OTA from decrypted recovery or reflash Magisk"
So I tried flashing 7.13, wiping data and flashing Magisk 23 (and later 24) on top of it. This didn't work either, I got an error saying can't mount /data, sometimes with "can't decrypt". What do I do? Did I do anything wrong? Everything worked flawlessly so far. In all cases the phone gets stuck on the crdroid logo, it doesn't boot loop and the logo doesn't freeze, just keeps loading.

I've encountered the same problem.
In my case, flashing the stock ROM (the official MIUI) and then flashing TWRP and this ROM again worked.
However, the backup still does not work. What should we, the users, do?
