Build 7.16 (released 15.03.2022) seems to be having occasional touch issues -> taps being recognized as long press.

The issue is less frequent than in crdroid8, but I didn't have these issues on the previous crdroid7 (I believe I had the 7.15).

I also notice the occassional Touch issues (short presses recognized as long presses), even tried the Build.prop fix from the CrDroid 8 thread, but didn't make a difference sadly.

Furthermore, the official charger charges at 3000 mA / 15W max. Haven't bought a 3rd party charger capable of 33W yet to see if it's different there, and also not tried the Acca app to see if that helps, but will edit/reply, once I did.

Edit: Apparently AOD is forced on when the phone is charging, even if you turn it off, the phone just turns it right back on..
Edit2: Fixed the AOD being on while charging, there is another setting in the CrDroid > User Interface > Ambient Display settings that caused it.
Charging & touch issues still persistent.

Everything else works well.

thanx in advance to the developer for this good rom
im giving my feedback about it
tbh .. this is the best android 11 aosp alike rom i've tried
smooth and stable no lags or fc
battery life is very good it can stand for almost 8 hrs sot
customization is also good
i replace the launcher with nova7 and replace phone app with true phone
also replace messaging app with google messages
now down to the most annoying thing which is the font in arabic website in apps and website that doesnt have its own font like uc browser or soul or else it is so buggy and small so it is uncomfort and hard to read like facebook twitter wikipedia and others
in chrome no problem with that
any idea how to fix that !? .. it is only appearing with arabic language in websites , anywhere else like menus is good and english font is good in all

I have a problem. Apps now working in fullscreen anymore, this is crucial in games because important parts of the screen are hided and make it so hard to play. Here's an example of
the game I play the more: Clash Royale.
As you can see a considerable part of the game is cutted.
Is this gonna be fixed in futures updates? I have the latest crdroid v7 (android 11) rom, its really important for me. Thank you in advance!

i think he dropped this project and is focusing on 12.1 with weekly updates

HI. After having CRDROID Android 12 ROM, I went back to using this ROM with Android 11.
It is the best ROM with many customization options and better appearance.
It would be good if you don't leave the project yet and can send the necessary updates. Personally Android 11 is much better.

A11 is abandoned (and have some bugs)

Too bad this is dropped, I generally like it, but have a new issue, where seemingly random apps drain a lot of battery over night, when they are not active at all. Can't figure out why, and it's pretty bad.

Just joined XDA to pitch in here too: I upgraded to crdroid8 recently, and regretted it badly, within 10 days of installing it. Android12 is messed up, perhaps the worst ever upgrade for android ever. I won't be going back there at all. crdroid7.14-16 is the best ROM for redmi note10pro/sweet, hands down. If only there was continuing support here.

I've got some coding experience, so, I'm interested in looking into creating further compilations of crdroid for this phone. It's a real work horse!

Hello there. Just had a blast getting back to rom flashing business after years of abstinence. Right now I'm on crdroid 8.10 and I like it. Limiting charging to 80, maybe 85% at all, but it feels like the battery is draining even over night, with flight and energy saving mode. I'll watch this.
