Unfortunately not. I upgraded to 2022-01-26 yesterday and cleared the app data of the google play services and rebooted as well. At this point, it all worked fine: signal got all the messages near instantly...
However, after a second reboot... it just stopped working again: no messages coming through unless I start the app.

There has been another release now with the same changelog, just a different date: Hotfix Update - Fixes notification delays for some people due to gms optimization

I'll test 27 next...

EDIT: 2022-01-27 fixed it for me. at least it still works after a few reboots and days of testing. I'll just hope it stays that way

Set your default phone app in settings. It was a bug in NikGapps.

Hi, awesome work. Not a big problem but when i turn on bluetooth a "provider stopped working" message pops up randomly while it is on. Is it fixable or do I have to wait another update?

I'm starting to think it was magisk 24. After updating to 24.1 it didn't happen. Great room by the way, It is better than the A11 I've tried.

The auto brightness off isn't working, it's still on auto mode, the no ringing option isn't working and also the notification alert. I have them on in the options,

Here's what I noticed.
- Icons of deleted applications remain, disappear after reboot.
- The first incoming sms appears in the list after opening sms from notifications.
- Twice there was an overflow of netstats traffic statistics when using as modem. I had to delete files in netstats and reboot.
- IR camera - Poco F1/Mi8 app can't find IR camera.
- PowerOffAlarm... not boot up at the alarm time... E/PowerOffAlarm(3133): java.io.FileNotFoundException: /mnt/vendor/persist/alarm/data: open failed: EACCES (Permission denied).

f2fs has been specifically developed for flash memory. it comes with fs-based wear leveling which is great for flash memory without a proper flash controller (microsd cards, emmc, etc.). Some more recent android phones (e.g. pixel 6, poco x3) use f2fs as its default fs for the data (and cache) partition.

do not disable nav bar. switch to gesture bar and set its size to compact and/or disable navigation hint instead. i stumbled into the same "issue" in crdroid 8, until i figured out that I was doing it wrong. It is confusing, as all these options are split between basically three different screens.

So it's not as beneficial for UFS storage? I gave up on F2FS long back after suffering through performance regressions. Rapid GC just didn't seem to work well although it was supported by OD kernel. After about a month or so Sequential Writes in particular would reduce to just 30-50MB/s which was noticeable in everyday usage. I reverted my older devices with eMMC storage to ext4 as well afterwards. Apps did launch a little bit faster at least initially.

I had observed Power Off Alarm last working in 7.4 IIRC. Thereafter it didn't work in any other build. I was dirty flashing builds thereafter though...

The toggle to disable the ripple effect for finger print unlock doesn't work, I think it makes the cellphone feels really slow.

Unlimited google photos are not working.
