Rome
OnePlus 9
My Oneplus 9 device is already updated to OOS 12 C62 (LE2113_11_C.62), do I still have to use the flasher firmware before installing the rom?
Does anyone work this rom correctly?

@gwolfu After using your firmware flasher.zip my phone is hard bricked i was on OOS11 firmware 11.2.10.10. fortunately i managed to "restore" the phone by using MSM tool for OP9 PRO and then i installed the proper firmware with MSM tool for OP9.

That zip is potentially fatal for the less experienced users and i suggest for it's removal ASAP. Conventional methods are tested and working. Let's stick with that.

it's been tried and tested and working, so I see no reason to remove it
Also you didn't hard brick as that would mean it would need repair by service center
It was a soft brick due to incompatible flash
I don't enforce the use of the flash tool also
Install instructions say "Make sure you have OOS 12 firmware installed"
Well added "You can do this by updating to OOS C.62 or via flash tool", so anyone is free to use what they want

I had no issues flashing the bat file either and thank you for bringing this to the OP9!!! Will you have any plans on baking the Gapps into the rom in the future? I'm having issues with Android Auto and the error 22 code states it's because the app is not in the system folder :(

firmware flash tool added
check opening post

Code:
1. Download
2. Extract
3. Put phone in fastboot mode (adb reboot fastboot or VOL DOWN + Power from off state)
4. Connect phone to PC
5. Execute update firmware bat file
I have a LE2115 global unit and I see firmware flashers for LE2111 and LE2113 but not my model. I already have C.62 running rooted but surely it's not also on the other slot. What should I do?

Edit: Guess I should just flash following OP's instructions. I thought it had to be on both slots, sorry, coming from OP6.

Noting some small bugs I am experiencing on the 20220826 build on my 2115 global unlocked phone.

    * Phone app crashes when trying to play a voicemail from within the app. Happens every time. I'm on T-Mobile

    * Every once in a while after unlocking the screen (I use PIN only, never used fingerprint or any other form of security), the screen goes black momentarily, status bar icons are briefly visible, then lockscreen reappears. Reboot is necessary to be able to again unlock the screen. This has only happened 3 times in the last few days. Maybe this is when I type in the PIN correctly but very fast--the device seems to hiccup and this bug appears.

    * I have experienced the previously reported black screen, where the screen goes black (display off) but the phone is on. No key strokes can revive it, only reboot. This happened once after adding a work wifi network credentials (using domain, pw and certificate). It happened another time after installing Notifybuddy. Other times, the screen was already off and when I went to double tap to wake, it wouldn't respond.

    * Overall the touchscreen is just a little bit laggy sometimes, slight delay from tapping icon to app launch. Sometimes the navbar icons are visible, but won't respond upon first tap. You have to hit them a couple or three times before the tap has an effect. Sometimes within an app, the back button (in navbar) doesn't respond at all, and I have to use the home or recents button to get somewhere else

I wonder if there is some relationship between the slight lag and the bugs. Like if you do something too quickly before the lag period has elapsed, the phone gets tripped up and one of the errors occurs.

Still loving the ROM and look forward to future releases. Thanks again!
