@gwolfu So, I followed the instructions successfully and after sideloading crDroid and then trying to boot I got stuck on the cr droid logo. After a while I gave up and did a clean wipe with MSM tool, upgraded to OOS 12 (the very first build from oxygen updater after going from 11 -> 12) then followed clean install instructions and same thing. Stuck at crDroid logo, phone doesn't boot.

How would I go about setting c61 in both slots after updating from c48go
Google search oneplus oos 12 updater apk.it allows you to flash locally when on oos 12.once on c61 use the updater apk and flash c61 again using the local updater apk.or you can try in the op of cherish rom or spark theres a flash all .bat for the firmware that will flash it to both slots.if i remember it dont flash system.img.once you do that flash your dtbo.img,vendor_boot.img and your recovery.img.then proceed to flash your rom normally.hope this helps.any questions let me know.

Anyone having problems with pocket detection? It doesn't seem to work for me.
When in my pocket phone screen activates, turns on battery saver, auto brightness, DnD, launches apps and messes with their settings.
It started 2-3 days after updating. I turned on the screen and found the brighness was too high and auto.B button wasn't working. A reboot solved it, but then the ghost touches problem showed up. Activating Pocket detection did not stop it.
Also, when trying to search in settings, the home page disappears but it's still overlaying the homescreen, need to go back then enter settings again to make it work.
Small inconveniences that amount to big annoyances (TL;DR: it's driving me crazy🤣)

This started happening on the latest build:

com.beemdevelopment.aegis.crypto.KeyStoreHandleException: android.security.KeyStoreException: Unknown error

When trying to enable biometric unlock on Aegis

Edit: Also I just got the "Enter your password for extra security" or whatever on my lock screen. I keep entering the password. When it's incorrect it just says so, when it's correct the screen goes black and then goes back to the password entry. Can't unlock my phone. My battery was under 15% if that matters but the same occurred after plugging it in. Had to restart my phone to get back in.

Edit 2: The restart seems to have also allowed me to re-enable biometric unlock on aegis, although this isn't the first time that biometric unlock has disabled itself. Probably for the same reason.

I'm a bit confused, if I were to flash this, is it rooted by default?
And if it's not rooted, then banking apps and such would still work normally?
Since I don't really need root...

Sorry for a possibly stupid question. I have the Oneplus 9 Pro in the China version (LE2120). I have now completed all the steps of the initial installation and now want to install the crDroid via sideload. I'm in recovery on the mobile phone and have done ADB sideload and Apply from ADB there. I open the Power Shell window in the directory where the crDroid file is located and enter the command (adb sideload crDroid.zip). But I always get the error message "cannot read crDroid.zip". What am I doing wrong?

no willing to force push anyone to crDroid 9, but you should move there as doesn't happen there
this issue is keystore related and somehow caused by firmware/kernel/android version combo without proper way to reproduce as happens randomly with some and no issues at all with others

Build 20220328 is ready marking the debut of Android 12L based crDroid
With this build, do note that a clean flash is recommended if coming from any other pre 8.3 build
This update won't be pushed via OTA if you also run any previous crDroid 8.3 build, but all upcoming updates will
Do also note that it may be possible to not have carrier service in some cases.
In order to fix that, do install crDroid, boot to it once, reboot to system again and it should get signal then... Still investigating root cause of this.

    Changelog:
    - Initial crDroid 8.3
    - Changed base code to Android 12L
    - Lots and lots of changes to count, so update and check yourself :)

Thanks a lot for non-gapps build.
guess anyone can install gapps when they want google stuff added
so with crDroid 8, we no longer per-bundle gapps
