After OTA of the new update i notice that the animation when going from app to home screen is laggy or stuttering. Is there a work around.

I'm trying to install this latest build of gcam (been using it a while on OOS) on a clean install of crdroid, but it seems to hang upon load. Anybody else have this issue or a solution?

Update: it seems as if the latest non-OP7p version (https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-arnova8G2/f/dl2/) works fine. For some reason after this latest update, I GOT L1 Widevine again while being MAGISK ROOT at the same time! Finally!
After the OTA, I restarted and it immediately went to L1 however im not rooted at this point since you will lose root once you do ota and restart. What i did next is to try if L1 widevine would stick if I will install magisk again. I downloaded the latest boot-magisk image from crdroid and flash it in fastboot and lo and behold im still in L1 Widevine. I do believe though that this is just dumb luck. Something happen under the hood for sure.
How to have dual apps like the 'Parallel Space' option in OOS? I tried using Island, but I am unable to log in into my Google Account. The page gets frozen.

Yes not only the lag on minimizing the app also when going to recent app. Same lag and stuter
Yikes. I was thinking of switching from Bliss to CrDroid but guess I'll wait til the next update. I don't think they fixed the vibration level setting bug either.

Confirmed the test build 2 do the job. Just finished updating thru OTA local upgrade. No lag and stutter. Thank you.
I want to report a crash. I was playing music on Spotify and was taking a picture on WhatsApp, when the device just crashed and the screen read 'Qualcomm Crashdump Mode'. Followed by something like 'die at PC...' followed by a code. I can share the logs, if someone wants them and can teach me how to.
Had something similar happen when loading a pic I had taken with gcam on the gallery. Seems non-stock camera is currently the common denominator. I'll try and reproduce.
If you can reproduce the crash, you can use the 'matlog' app to capture logs during the crash.
Those any body already have a fix on the widevine L3. Tried today but no luck. Used the MSN unbrick tool OOS 10 still on L3. Tried OOS 11 from Guacamole still L3. Now flash back to CRdroid 8.6 still L3. Getting

I actually haven't tried the guide myself because as I mentioned I haven't had a crashdump yet (knock-on-wood lol)
I'm guessing you may have already gotten the correct drivers if you're mentioning the wwan-dhcp or ethernet-dhcp options, but in case you didn't, try the guide here: https://www.droidwin.com/download-install-qualcomm-hs-usb-qdloader-9008-drivers/ then choose the MANUAL option. That might do what you need it to do - but unfortunately I can't really give exact/personal advice as I havn't tried the guide personally, but I have heard it works and seen people report logs with it (on telegram). -

Flashing Instructions:
Pre-installation:
- At this time, OOS 11 firmware is mandatory (OOS 12 firmware will result in boot issues)
- Download recovery (download - for clean flash, don't use magisk patched boot.img)
- Optional NikGapps core (download - note that you may also need setup wizard addon if you rely on Google restore)
- Optional Magisk
- Backup your data to PC, OTG flash drive
- Enter fastboot
- Flash our boot.img in fastboot

fastboot flash boot boot.img - Boot to recovery (can do from bootloader or with buttons from power off state)
- Now in recovery go to factory reset and confirm the reset
- Reboot to recovery
- Choose apply update and Apply from ADB
- Now install crDroid zip via sideload

adb sideload crDroid.zip - Go back to main menu and reboot to recovery to install gapps (if you don't want gapps, reboot to system)
- To install gapps, simply sideload gapps.zip the same way you installed crDroid.zip then reboot to system
Via recovery:
- Boot to recovery
- Choose apply update and Apply from ADB
- Now install crDroid zip via sideload and reboot

- Factory reset from recovery and format data (where you type "yes")
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash crDroid zip and TWRP installer zip

- After passed setup screen, reboot to TWRP and flash Magisk zip

Through recovery:
- Boot to recovery (optional make a backup)
- Flash updated crDroid zip and TWRP installer zip then reboot to recovery

Built-in OTA (slower):
- Go to Settings -> System -> Updater
- Click on Download button for new update and after download is ready, click install
- Updater app will prepare for first boot then finalize installation, but make sure you don't click reboot (you'll loose root if you do so)
- Open up Magisk, go to modules tab, click install from storage and choose TWRP installer zip
- Now head back to Magisk home page and click on top most install button from Magisk category
- From here choose to install to inactive slot
- Reboot and enjoy
