I've got L1 Widevine. Gpay. and pass safety net.
You have to start from the beginning by flashing OOS, booting into it, checking you have L1 (may need to lock bootloader). Then install crdroid. After that, you should be good.
I started from OOS and install the 8.5Build. after that i only update thru OTA.
Did you boot into OOS and check for L1? Mine was L3 in OOS until I locked the bootloader. Then I was able to see L1. Then, after unlock, L1 remained. Finally, installed crdroid based on OP.

I didn't do this. I will wait may be next update will fix this. Anyways the quality is still descent when watching netflix on the phone.
Is ther any way to fix this without rolling back to OOS?. Maybe an update on this wonderful rom. Please.

Backup your data first, of course
1) Update to OxygenOS 11:
- Reboot to bootloader
fastboot boot twrp.img(download here)- Format data
- Repeat 1 and 2
- Flash latest OxygenOS 11 zip for your variant (see this thread) - First slot
- Repeat 1 and 2
- Repeat 5 - Second slot
- Reboot to system once
2) Flash crDroid (see OP for instructions)
There is no "official version of Android 12" for guacamole. You can flash crDroid coming from OxygenOS 11.
Ok but the official beta version is out, so you have to downgrade to Android 11, is the Volte functional ? Because it does not work with Android 11

I am under oos 12.1 open beta 1, I wanted to know if it is possible to flash it directly or do I have to downgrade to oos 11 first?
I think both FBEv1 or FBEv2 would work here since TWRP is only required to format data partition, not to decrypt it. You can also format data partition with crDroid recovery if you want.
disable "Prioritise update process" on Updater preferences
or download from website and install via ADB
After OTA of the new update i notice that the animation when going from app to home screen is laggy or stuttering. Is there a work around.

Flashing Instructions:
Pre-installation:
- At this time, OOS 11 firmware is mandatory (OOS 12 firmware will result in boot issues)
- Download recovery (from download page, recovery button)
- Optional NikGapps core (download - note that you may also need setup wizard addon if you rely on Google restore)
- Optional Magisk (boot.img used to patch with Magisk in order to get root, can be found in recovery folder from download page)
- Backup your data to PC, OTG flash drive
- Enter fastboot
- Flash our boot.img in fastboot

fastboot flash boot boot.img - Boot to recovery (can do from bootloader or with buttons from power off state)
- Now in recovery go to factory reset and confirm the reset
- Reboot to recovery
- Choose apply update and Apply from ADB
- Now install crDroid zip via sideload

adb sideload crDroid.zip - Go back to main menu and reboot to recovery to install gapps (if you don't want gapps, reboot to system)
- To install gapps, simply sideload gapps.zip the same way you installed crDroid.zip then reboot to system
Via recovery:
- Boot to recovery
- Choose apply update and Apply from ADB
- Now install crDroid zip via sideload and reboot
