Thanks for the quick answer. There's a paid app on play store and it used to be a magisk module but couldn't find anything yet about it.
FYI, tried to download OTA but it wouldn't download. Checked the url and sourceforge says file not found.

Found the magisk module for custom qs tiles.
When installing, give two categories: circle or rectangle with sub choices for standard, outline, or squicle shapes.

I believe, when on 11.2.2, you need to flash 11.2.10.10 twice or use copy-partitions.zip so the stock 10.10 is on both slots. Then you can continue the custom rom flashing process.

so i managed to figure out how to update it, i had to run the zip from twrp and then it would update instead of fastbooting it but im still getting issues

#1 i have no cell service for some reason, also

#2 theres no hardly any apps at all to include a playstore lol (i suspect this is the case because i didnt install Gapps)

#3 when i do sideload Gapps i get an issue CRdroid home constantly forceclosing itself so i cant use anything on the screen and it just flashes but i can still pull down the notification bar and access the settings and everything but when i try to fix this by just wiping and re flashing it i get an error that the device is locked (which it shouldnt be but theres also no developer settings for me to check nor OEM when i try to search the settings with the search bar) so i have to run the MSM and restart the process

so maybe im doing something wrong let me list my steps and make sure i got everything correct

#1 i flash the MSM it puts me on 11.2.2.2

#2 i sign in, enable OEM and adb

#3 i reboot to fastboot and flash twrp

#4 once in twrp i install the 11.2.10.10 zip via this file to both slots (i manually just swap within twrp) https://android.googleapis.com/packages/ota-api/package/a074a7205a681509f1b84d6a2e0f75ddc2c6ab9b.zip but i get a lot of errors about not being able to save to system ext and others but it says successful not sure if it makes a difference

#5 reboot into the system and verify it updated to 10.10

#6 boot into fastboot and fastboot flash the CRdoid recovery image to both A and B slots that i got from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/crdroid/files/lemonadep/8.x/recovery/boot-23.06.2022.img/download

#7 once thats complete i boot into recovery mode (the crdroid one that was just flashed) and i factory reset and then go to apply an update and i sideload the CRdroid zip that i got from here(https://sourceforge.net/projects/cr...oid-12.1-20220623-lemonadep-v8.6.zip/download)

#8 reboot into recovery again once its complete and sideload the Gapps from the first post

and i havent done this yet but then i would flash the magisk boot img that i got from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/cr.../recovery/magisk-boot-23.06.2022.img/download


PS i removed the simcard for about 10 minutes put it back in and still dont have cell service and it also tells me i dont have wifi but i do lol

PSS i was able to swap the launcher to googles pixel one via the settings but it still wont show the apps on the screen (i think this also has to do with the wifi/cell service issue because it tells me apps are ready to be downloaded and to connect to wifi or service) but on the brightside i no longer get the error and the constant flashing lol

Forget twrp it's buggy in a11 and won't work with a12. Flash Crdroid recovery (only one slot, the other is for the rom) then sideload rom then gapps.

gotcha, how do i update from 2.2.2 to 10.10 without twrp? do i do it the same way boot into crdroidrecovery and then fastboot flash it or sideload it? (thats all i was using twrp for)

awesome thanks man ill give that a shot now! do you have any idea what could be causing the data and wifi or the launcher issue? the wifi one it says its connected but it seems like it doesnt want to pull an IP address for some reason, and when i initially pulled up the page one time it said it was blocked but then it quickly changed to connected but there still wasnt an IP and it still asked me to connect to internet to continue setting up lol

ps: it looks like the internet issue has been fixed but still having issues with the launchers, tried swapping to the pixel one but that just doesnt show anything on the screen

if you installed gapps that have pixel launcher, then that is the cause

yes i installed gapps, normally i select the crhome option once it boots up but it just errors out and keeps force closing then i swap to the pixel one, do you know if theres a way to fix the force closures?

for example with nikgapps, you can edit nikgapps config to not install it (more on that here), or simply use a gapps package without it, like nikgapps core

thanks man that worked! i had to remove it using the guide but its all up and working now, but theres one last thing, my computer no longer sees the phone in my file explorer, but i can still sideload things and flash to it, is tried re-installing the oneplus drivers from here https://oneplusdriver.com/oneplus-9-pro (thinking it was a driver issue because i have it enabled for transferring files but in my device manager it just shows "other devices" and "PCI Device" with an exclamation point) but to no avail, it still does not allow me to transfer files from the computer to phone and vice versa, any advice?

When i restart all seems fine, the Phone is booting, i can log in Wifi, but then it says "data is checked" and nothing happens. The Circle stopped.

What should i do?

so I have this weird problem. After flashing the boot.img and sideloading crDroid.zip I get stuck in fastboot mode. The first time i managed to escape by flashing stock .img files and using fastboot reboot fastboot, but that no longer works due to fastboot: error: Failed to boot into userspace fastboot; one or more components might be unbootable. I've tried to install this rom twice, with both tries ending with the phone stuck in fastboot mode. please help

EDIT: 11.2.10.10 is the version i should've had
