Though I just realized mine got inverted
Try these steps:.... do I have no choice but to format the data and then restore Internal Storage to get all my files back, and install all the apps again manually?
Try writing to 'SourceForge'. Also........ I was about to give up. There should be a proper troubleshoot for this problem.
There is: search + read = researchThanks Thanks Thanks a lot ❤❤❤ . I was about to give up. There should be a proper troubleshoot for this problem.
8.x most likely won't see much development anymore. 9 is suitable enough and actively developed. Not sure why it's still labeled as beta. You will need to format data again, so might as well do it once and for allMany thanks everyone!
I updated the firmware via TWRP and then clean flashed crDroid 8.12. Then restored all my apps and data using Swift Backup. Kept the encryption status enabled (did not install DFE). All good so far!
I'll upgrade to crDroid 9.x when it's no longer in beta (as per the download site).
Can upgrading from 8.x to 9.x be done by dirty flashing? Or need to clean flash again?
