Bit the bullet and upgraded from 8.6 to 9.2. Smooth experience so far, just a few relatively small bugs. Assistant works fine.

Alarm notifications seem to be hit or miss. Sometimes it does not trigger properly. At some point when I was listening to music through earbuds and when someone called me, the music would not pause and play back through the phone speaker alongside the ringtone. Though they seem to be rare occurances.

Complete reflash, latest TWRP, latest MindtheGapps.

Does anyone know if OTA works now that FBEv2 is supported?

After installing the Feb 14th update, I have been met with this error and was forced to reset my phone. I used the updater that came with the rom itself

Hi, how long does it take for you to enter recovery after reboot? Mine takes about 2 minutes which seems like a long time to me.

Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC
Everything went smoothly till I performed a TWRP backup which accidentally pressed the cancel button in the middle of the process. I did it again successfully, rebooted the system, and after that phone froze after seconds and could not be turned on. Only reboot through the long-press turn-on button. This is not happening on the TWRP screen.

Hello. I am in 9.1 version (january) and google wallet started saying my phone doesn't meet security requirements to pay with nfc. Does this error get solved in newer versions?

Also if I want to update to latest, I have to totally format everything isn't it? And there is any way to backup all apps and data to reinstall and have everything set up from moment 0?

Thanks

No idea about passing safetynet, I don't use payment apps.

But, yes to formatting data. No way around that.

I use Swift Backup to make a local backup (on external SD card) and most apps get restored properly, though you will have to re-login into the secure ones. Need to be rooted, of course.

One thing you can't get around is setting up the system (environment) itself. But it's a good opportunity to revisit some of the many options crDroid offers. You'll just need time.

Having said that, wait for the latest security/feature update, which (I hope) will drop any day now 😁

Were you referring to system settings? Certain apps like Alpha Backup offer an option to backup (and restore?) system settings too.

I have a lot of things I think are impossible to be restored properly, such as Microsoft Authenticator.
And I don't have right now he mood to manually set up everything.

So I will wait for the latest security patch and maybe, and just maybe, I will be tired enough of not paying with the phone to accept the quest.

Thank you very much.

I just moved from arrow os 12.1 to this. I followed the following steps:-

1)Wipe everything except the SD card.
2) Install Latest Firmware - miui_SURYAINGlobal_V13.0.1.0.SJGINXM_967fb3e39c_12.0
3) Install CrDroid - crDroidAndroid-13.0-20230214-surya-v9.2
4) Installed mindthe gaaps - MindTheGapps-13.0.0-arm64-20221025_100653
5) Format Data - YES

But the Sim Icon in Grayed out and not working. even i flashed it again the same result came.

Now i saw that there is another firmware available - miui_SURYAGlobal_V14.0.1.0.SJGMIXM_2be070b453_12.0

Find and try this on: fw_surya_miui_SURYAGlobal_V12.5.8.0.RJGMIXM_e57b4eef74_11.0.zip
I can't remember offhand, but the newer ones had some sort of issue.
Just flash it directly and see if it helped.
