On 9.4 and 9.5 ...Hello I have been using crDroid v9.3 3 weeks now on citrus (Poco M3) clean install .... There is some hickups and stutters here and there which needs optimization. I encountered some random serious crashs on System UI which makes me to restart System UI from holding Power button options no big deal but annoying no other problem detected ... I hope I will be fixed ... TNX again
Have you tried using xiaomi.eu rom? Or is it crdroid specific?
My apologies, but I guess the problem came from the rom you came from, you could try flashing the stock rom/xiaomi.eu modified stock rom, without relocking the bootloader, then start over from there, flash recovery etc. I had the same problem but with PixelOS, I don't know if it works on you tho.Hi
What do you mean by"tried using Xiaomi.eu "? actually I flashed crDroid version v8.12 and later upgraded to v9.3 since then I was encountering the System UI carshes although using clean install and factory defaults the problem still exists even using the recommended GApps by the author but no difference...
Poco m3 64/4
Thanks for the adviceMy apologies, but I guess the problem came from the rom you came from, you could try flashing the stock rom/xiaomi.eu modified stock rom, without relocking the bootloader, then start over from there, flash recovery etc. I had the same problem but with PixelOS, I don't know if it works on you tho.
Like vendor files and baseband etc. I had experience with havocOS before, It was bootlooping until I flash the a11 vendor file and restart the installation steps, but some apps keeps crashing, so I flashed the stock rom, and restart the installation steps (againThanks for the advice
But I have a good question...
In what why previous installed rom could affect current rom on the device could you please demonstrate?
Ok thanksLike vendor files and baseband etc. I had experience with havocOS before, It was bootlooping until I flash the a11 vendor file and restart the installation steps, but some apps keeps crashing, so I flashed the stock rom, and restart the installation steps (again), and then it boots and works normally.

Now, if the device is locked with the screen off, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work unless you wake up the device (and then it works and unlocks the phone).9.6 is here:
CLEAN FLASH IS MANDATORY
Changelog:
- Initial crDroid 9.6 release
- Updated to June 2023 security patches
- Due to a source rebase some features are missing, no idea if they come back or not
- Changed to grass kernel, which has kernelsu support
Me too, any workaround? Now, if the device is locked with the screen off, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work unless you wake up the device (and then it works and unlocks the phone).
Updating from the 9.5 release on a Redmi 9T.
UPDATE:
Clean flash the crDroid 9.6 release, same bug.
Yeah you can use SHRP, i am using that but not in latest rom version...Hello, can i use Skyhawk recovery instead of TWRP/Orangefox? Seems that one has been updated more than the latter choices.
Also, what does CHIME mean? Is it compatible with Citrus/Lemon/Pomelo?
