Hey I'm using 11ultra for a while with evolution rom ..

Thx for ur brilliant work



Here are few questions I need to ask...

I had few times can not get the photos when i took photos with the original camera of this rom

(i took a photo,and i try to open it by touching the small pic down the camera,and i cloud not open it,,,the pic just gone...)



I try gcam , it's same

Wish we can use mi camera soon



Wish back screen works in the future lol too

I have also encountered camera problems. I solve them through third-party camera software!

One more thing ~
after flashing evo,all the devices models are becoming into 11pro
If we use devcheck ,it shows 11ultra is 11pro
Compared with my 11 pro, Everything same but sku~

Wish fix it soon

What you said is true, and I have found it before; For the camera problem, install Google camera and try it; Specific parameters shall be adjusted; I don't take the camera so seriously!

should not be lost, but dirty flash from Android 12.1 to Android 13 at your own risk.

I was wondering about that too. I have a smartwatch that's a pain to restore, every time that I perform a clean flash, so sometimes I prefer dirty just because I don't want to go through the process again.

I can confirm that dirty flash from 12.1 to 13 worked flawlessly so far, rooted via patching boot.img. Been few hours, nothing weird - but YMMV.

thanks for your test and answers!

By doing dirty update from 12.1 > 13... Is it necessary to flash these images before (like clean install)?
- boot.img
- dtbo.img
- vendor_boot.img

Or only default update procedure?
1. Reboot to Recovery
2. Download the update for your device
3. Flash the ROM <adb sideload name>
4. Reboot to System and #KeepEvolving

2. dtbo.img
3. Reboot to recovery
4. adb sideload
5. Full boot
6. Patching boot.img with magisk app
7. Rebooting to BL and flashing modded boot.img

I skipped the vendor step, and the wipe.

What about your usual apps? All working on A13? Or did you already face issues with banking apps and stuff? Also were you using the normal magisk beta or only canary works?

step 6+7 because your device is rooted!?
Otherwise, steps 1-5 should suffice. Right?

@pixl76 yes, 6+7 are for rooting. Normal flashing ends with 5, when the phone fully boots for the first time.

Then again, I can't guarantee that my phone won't start acting up as time goes by
I took a risk, don't hold me accountable if your expereince differs

thanks and confirmed with my unrooted 11Ultra!
These steps worked for me too (dirty update from latest Evo 12.1 > 13).
No issues (so far), incl. banking apps and Saftynet Test.

1. fastboot: boot.img
2. fastboot: dtbo.img
3. Reboot to recovery
4. adb sideload: evolution_mars-ota-tp1a.220905.004-09101856-unofficial-unsigned.zip
5. Reboot System
