Hi. A note for folks who want to install the MicroG build of LineageOS. Remember to use LineageOS dtbo.img, vendor_boot.img, and recovery.img from the same date or a few days before the MicroG build date. Otherwise you'll get an error.

Please, can someone give me advice about how to install the camera app from Xiaomi, or the one packaged with MIUI EU or with PixelOS? I have the APKs for the camera app from those three sources, and I have the CameraExtensionsProxy.apk from PixelOS and from MIUI EU.

I have the MicroG build of LineageOS installed and running.

UPDATE: I tried just regularly installing the APKs (not the proxies) and as expected, the app never opened.

Hey,

first of all i want to say thanks for the work!

I installed today LinegaeOS (19.1 25.02.23) but the blocking of contacts isnt working.
I blocked a contact which called my twice with the same number and the number ist strange (twice time a +49 number but different numbers).
I blocked the number after the first call but get anuway the second call.

When i showd to the loggs there is "blocked" but the call was anyway there...

Does someone has any idea why the blocking-function istn working?

EDIT: Okay, the second number ist my one. Is there any bug or is it a feature and how can i fix it?

Greetings
Saphira

The android firmware warning is related to which stock firmware to have flashed previously, not to the custom rom

if you come from miui 14 or miui 12, make sure to flash the latest miui 13 global fastboot rom before following the guide

if you come from any custom rom (to this date) just flash LineageOS by following the guide

i already ship the fw on the builds already fyi (in this case V13.0.8.0.SKOMIXM). in case a newer stock android 12 update comes for lisa, i'll update it accordingly :D
Recently got this phone and it updated itself to V13.0.11.0.SKOEUXM (newest Miui 13 EU rom). Can I flash Lineage directly or do I need to flash the Miui global rom anyway?

I'm on MIUI 14, so I assume I cannot flash this without downgrading to MIUI 13, or can I?

not needed to downgrade but you have to flash
  • dtbo
  • vendor_boot
  • boot
lineage-19.1-2023*nightly-lisa-signed.zip include the firmware files

EDIT: if you wan to go back you do the same if you want flash with a recovery
Thats a nightly build right? I'll just wait for official release, since I'm going to daily drive this.

Also, I don't see usage of boot.img in the installation guide.

Edit: I'll just wait for LineageOS 20 since I use camera often.

NO, that comment requires explanation from the guy who commented it. It is some random magisk module or a macilious app that he installed by himself.

Eitherways, feel free to report if you donot understand this, XDA moderators are well aware what Official Lineage is capable of doing.

Also i don't have control over the automated LineageOS build system (expect for device trees that are all pushed on LineageOS github org)

if you don't trust these builds, you can still build it from source by following the wiki guide (https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/lisa/build/variant1)

this zip is not working anymore in lineage os 20 it says (can't connect to camera) tried other zip files from telgram group and they don't work either. Other than that i got no complaints with lineage os 20 it's perfect. Excellent work buddy @Its_Vixano
You could try the one from the SuperiorOS thread (post #2)

    beware of this custom,
    it makes instant selfies,
    auto scrolling menu and apps!
    writing strange characters !
maybe there is a payload integrated with this custom!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13 (T), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE (256gb DG - Global Version). I bootloader unlocked it after a week's usage. It is visible to ADB and Fastboot on Windows 10.

Ran into a bit of a problem following the flashing guide.

    Downloaded the following files:

From the link. Successfully flashed boot.img, vendor.boot.img, and dtbo.img. It automatically selected _b as a destination on the phone. Attempting a reboot with power + volume up never got me to a recovery screen, only had the Mi logo flash before re-entering fastboot.

I re-read the instructions and there's a place where it is a little unclear as to if recovery.img is to be used for all phones or not despite only being in the ys1 repository. So I downloaded that and flashed it (successfully), it auto selected _a as a destination.

Phone still continues to reboot to fastboot, but now without the Mi logo flashing (guessing I blew away whatever was left of the factory ROM on _a with that last move).

Suggestions on what to do next? I'm stuck at a place where the phone is in fastboot mode and connected to a Windows machine with adb and the proper drivers but I'm guessing has no bootable recovery or ROM so sideloading isn't an option.
