Hi,

I get an MiA2 lite with the original A10 rom... This Los rom seems a very good option to upgrade to android 13... Thanks Its_Vixano for your great work!

I only have 2 questions:
- Is possible to install this rom with Twrp or Orange Fox? And the problem with that is that i will not get OTA updates?
- This rom will have future updates?

Thanks!!

I have been using it as my daily driver for a couple of days now. I think this is simply the best rom for Mi A2 Lite (dasiy). I am coming from Stock > Lineage OS 18.1 (Android 11) > Lineage OS 20 (Android 13).

The only minor annoyances i encountered are that:

1. Google Password Manager does not sync the device password across the installed apps. But i can live with that. May be it has got something to do with the MindTheGapps.

2. App battery usage stats are more than 100%. These may be caused by restoring the apps and data using Migrate Rom.

Thank you @Its_Vixano for your hard work! much appreciated.

With latest MindTheGapps-13.0.0-arm64-20230408_162909 I've had massive problems with latest OTA update. Which GApps version are you using nowadays? flameGapps-canary?

EDIT: I stayed with an older version that had used before and all seems to be fine: MindTheGapps-13.0.0-arm64-20221025_100653

With the newest OTA, the Google Wallet stopped worked though. It simply crashes here before properly starting up.

Besides this the Google location support is not working here, it seems. Any ideas how to fix GApps and all of its functionality?

EDIT: Found this fix which worked to get the location service working: app ops

BTW: The newest MindTheGApps version works here now as well!

I'm coming from the Xiaomi Android One (oreo) and followed the instructions and everything seemed to install without error. Files I downloaded were boot.img, the small fw firmware (is this an update?) and the Lineage firmware. One thing I noticed was while installing the Lineage firmware, it seemed to hang at 47% at 1/2 but eventually completed. While it was trying to boot I still had the Android One white boot screen. From there it just went off I guess. I used FWUL. And after a couple of install attempts to Lineage I used Fastboot to install daisy_global_images_V11.0.18.0.QDLMIXM_20210126.0000.00_10.0_286d778cee. But it kept on crashing while I was trying to complete the setup. I then went back to the rom I had when I started. daisy_global_images_V9.6.11.0.ODLMIFF_20181112.0000.00_8.1_8028e3bf1c
And it's working again.

I didn't install Gapps, Magisk. Is this required?

Do I need to start with a complete MIUI firmware before I sideload the fw firmware on the download page?

Any suggestions?

You must flash the V11.0.21.0.QDLMIXM firmware. Make sure you follow the flashing guide at https://guide.itsvixano.me/flashing/

You can download the firmware zip from the downloads page on that site.

I flashed the V11.0.21.0.QDLMIXM after the boot.img following the instructions. The size of the firmware is only 48.8MB. So I think it's an update. I'm guessing this means I should have the latest full MIUI firmware already installed.? I don't have much experience with this so I'm just guessing what might be logically wrong.
Thanks for your reply.

Since I use this ROM, my battery is drained pretty fast. And I can't get the battery to be 100%. Leaving my phone plugged for 24h get the battery to ~60%

Is my battery dying or could it be a software issue ? It suspiciously started after I switched from xiami default OS to this ROM ( lineage-20.0-20230918 )
My battery charging and usage is normal on this ROM. Might be your battery going for some reason, but if you could switch back to the previous ROM or a different one, you could verify. Could also be a problem with the charging circuit, I just had a different good phone totally dead brick on me after just a reboot, no charging no nothing.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13 (T), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Notes
    - Selinux is enforcing
    - FBE build, don't use twrp for these builds
    - Custom kernels are NOT supported
    - Read the instructions carefully
