Does the camera app on this have panorama assist? I have 4.5.1-134 but the panorama shots are pain to shoot because there is no overview of what has been shot. Can someone post the camera apk, please.

Preview. Milestone2 4.5.3-77 rom has this function but no success porting this app.

Hello,

Is it possible to remap the search capacitative button or utilize screen off applications fully with this ROM? I asked a similar question in a Froyo thread thinking I was able to do it fully with 2.3.4 and it turns out I was only able to do it with CM7 and unable to do it with Froyo or the stock 2.3.4.

I have tried multiple manipulations in system/usr/keylayout modifying .kl files while working with the stock 2.3.4 and am not able to remap the search button, also with screen off applications I can only lock the phone and not completely shut the screen off as I am able with CM7.

Are these functions (remap search or completely shut off screen with applications, not just lock screen) possible with this ROM?

Auto power up doesn't work for me. I use GreenBreadMod. Is it something related with the older kernel? If it's really non-functional, is there a way to remove it from the Settings Menu? Thx...
And... a black statusbar would be great...

It did not work on all new GB builds.

sorry guys, i've been too hurry earlier.

YES!! it works!!

no more laggy on 3d performance.
no more weird collision and "tentacle" on 3d textured object,
[for simple example, just see quadrant benchmark on planets scene, you will know what i am talking about]
now it has 50 fps (before it was only 12 fps)

i took cm7 3D library, and replace on it.
here in attachment i create a update.zip (sorry wrong upload earlier)
and reverting zip just in case you'll get error.
EDIT: yep i lost bootanimation at startup after applying zip.

i'm green lensed defy,
so of course i apply greenbread mod which using froyo kernel (cmiiw).
i don't know if this library-replace could suit red lense.

why i am change to APK
because that DAMN ANDROID BROWSER cannot download ZIP,
i have to rename it to APK (i am using my web server to transfer files without cable)

oh damn, i forgot to delete it..
APN change, because the stock conf cannot read my carrier apn settings.
you can delete it though.
those apn.conf is from stock froyo, i don't know why the hell on another build they release another apn.conf which the settings is wrong for my country.

the main replacement is on \system\lib\

The phone didn't boot after applying the update on red lens defy. Only apply if you have greenbread mod.

Yes, I think this is because kernel and library doesn't match.
I got it from CM7 libraries, which DEFY CM7 is using froyo kernel.
Then I am using green lensed Defy, which have to install greenbread mod, greenbread mod utilizing froyo kernel to work properly.

If you got an error, please flash reverted zip from recovery to get previous 3D libraries

copied /system/bin/battd from uk Milestone2 froyo. Check the changlog from ms2ginger there is a link. I managed to replace hole settings.apk. No need for setup.apk any more.

thanks, I can update after I install superuser update fixer first.
Btw, great ROM. 8 hours overnight, my battery lost 4-5%, approx the same as CEE froyo.

4~5% overnight with WiFi and sync on?
With CM7 I get 3% with WiFi and 3G off and 5% with WiFi and sync on.
