And if you wipe the fix is gone.

tell me everything you are flashing starting with rom, I have no trouble with facelock zip flashing in the order I gave.

Camera problems

tl;dr Camera app saves corrupted photos (issue already present on stock rom)

Yesterday I took my old sensation from the dusty drawers and tried to give it a second life.
It was running on stock rom 4.0.3 with hboot 1.27.
On this stock rom the camera was already working ****ty, It only saved the photos correctly when using it without flash. If the photo was taken with flash it would save the file corruptly and it couldn't be viewed in the gallery.

I started with unlocking bootloader, then performed the s-off with the wire trick
I installed twrp recovery and supersu for permanent root.
Then I flashed this mod and after that gapps pico.
All works fine (even the torch works, haven't tried fm radio yet but i don't care about that)

The thing is, the cm13 camera app still doesnt work, it takes a photo (with or without flash) and saves it to the sd card, but it is always corrupted.
I thought the camera module, sd card or sd card slot could be faulty.
I tried multiple sd cards, and tried formatting them for internal storage or removeable storage.
It still doesn't work.

Now the strange part:
I've tried other camera apps, they gave the same result.
But snapchat is working. If I take a photo with snapchat and press the save button, it saves a valid photo to the sd card.
So I guess none of them are faulty, it's probably a software issue.

hi, just updated to this and aftersome issues its updated but its extremely unstable. it will just randomly reboot at the drop of a hat. i knew thats not super specific but it seems everything makes it reeboot.

so, its a long shot but anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing or what might help matters?

Most reboots on sensation happens when a process requests a memory and its already full. Sensation only has some 750mb of memory and CM13 can be too much for it. Thats probably why its rebooting often.

Try uninstalling unnecessary apps and stop background process. Not a long term solution though.

Better to use greenify and autostarts (from f-droid) to limit apps from always running.

That said it could also be because of data corruption on the microsd or because of an old battery

Hello, I am currently using this ROM with a sd-ext partition for data (SD-EXT Boot MOD), but without a swap partition on sd card.
But when I look in DiskInfo, I see a "Swap" partition "/dev/block/zram0" of 127MB. What is this partition, where did it come from ?

And if I were to create a swap partition (1 GB) on the sd card, would this be direclty supported by this ROM?, or would other scripts be needed ? I am asking because I have too much lag sometimes on the device and I believe it's because of the limited RAM.

Does this ROM or kernel support swap?
Because I have tried "TURBO BOOST by delta-roh" script to create a swap of 100MB on the /cache partition, the script installed fine, but after reboot there is no swap enabled, and the swap file in the /cache partition does not exist.
Has anyone used this script on this ROM?, has it worked ? Thank you.

This awesome rom brought life back to my sensation.


Every time someone calls me, I have to wait for at least 5 seconds until screen shows caller name or phone number. Is there any way to shorten this timeout?

For the record - using 4ext, installation coming up with status 7. After removing device restriction from script (google status 7, good video on youtube), this was sorted and it installed. Had FC on both trebuchet and AOSP keyboard which is very problematic of course, but downloaded 3rd part kb and launcher as apks, copied to sd card, installed (when you don't have launcher, i set up file manager as lock screen shortcut so I can open apk and this was sorted.

Why are you peoples refused to read FAQ, why? About 4ext, you should reboot recovery after you doing wipe and than you will be ok. Keyboard FC solution described in FAQ.

First off let me thank you for taking your time on this rom!

Second, i'm having some small problems, and that is reboots. It constantly reboots for me, mostly happens when i accept a phone call, but also when i'm just browsing the web etc.

Do you have any idea what it could be? i followed your guide, and think i did everything correctly :/

may be you should simplify FAQ?
for example: keyboard issue have a big article which is not everyone can understand. you could write something like '1. create txt file named xxx 2.write in parameter yyy' instead of pushing people reading this article where a solution isn't obvious.
