are you for real? so, you messed up with an application, you get a bootloop, and you have to relock the whole phone flashing a factory image? You guys should stop giving these useless and dangerous advice, I'm telling you for the sake of the truth, no hurt feelings.
First, titanium is a well known issue with two working solutions 1) change path of restoring 2) use chainfire Superuser. Second, when you flash a rom and for whatever reason it doesn't boot, it means you flashed something you shouldn't, then all you have to do is,
go back into recovery
The revolution.zip should be in his sd memory, so he just need to reflash the rom wiping as I stated..restore a back up will work as well. Pushing the zip with side load from recovery will work too. About not to flash any 4.2.2 rom, this is just insane..why should he have any problem?
Also, the guy's failed probably because he didn't mount data partition before giving the push command; so you can do it in 2 way, mounting data partition before:
CWM mount data
adb push ROM.zip /sdcard/
CWM unmount data
or you can give the command stating the complete path;
this way you don't have to mount data partition from recovery since sdcard/ is nothing more than a symlink to /data/media.
'adb push update.zip /data/media/'
anything but to flash the factory image, just so you know...
woah , you dnt know tha situation, all you said is true but the thing is , when u flash a 4.3 rom with the 4.2 bootloader , u stuck on boot , no matter u mess with a app or not, u will stuck on boot, yes i tried each step u said , wipe system,cache,data etc, but nothing works (sometimes adb push works when u wipe sd partition), either u have to flash factory image or format ur sd card partition too along with full wipe, it has happened to me 14 ****in times !! i have tried all u said before, but honestly , that doesnt work , some how the system and data partition becomes read only until u wipe everything includng sd or flash factory image ,,,
p.s whats DANGEROUS in flashing a factory image? :silly::silly:
