Has anyone got a problem with Facebook Messenger on this rom (34.1)? After I type a message and send, I press back and it freezes for a short while then says messenger killed. Same if I send a message and try to type again straight away, it freezes but if I carry on typing it will vibrate like mad then input my text all in one go after a short while of freezing. Anyone else have this trouble? Only started when I changed to lollipop. So I'm wondering if its the app or my rom.

Turning off in-app sounds worked for me

Its not the ROM but a glitch somewhere in lollipop, same happened to me.

My fix was to disable the use of NLU (experimental) player in developer settings.

Hello people! Could you tell me if it change the rom 34.0 by 34.1? what changes? I'm with 34.0 and had no problems so far but always like to update the rom but it is a bit of effort I'm already busy lately with my work! But if it is better to change let me know I'll find a way in my time!

Go into TWRP and wipe the data partition. Confirm with "yes". Backup anything before as this will wipe the internal memory. Problem will be solved.

Cid 11111111 is supercid and combined with s-off gives you a sort of God mode ?
So to answer your question, yes with this combination you can update your firmware to 4.xx.xxx.x base and flash 34.1

It's not really on topic here.

That CID is invalid, it should be 8 characters long.

With S-Off you should be able to update your firmware, but you'll want to fix the CID.

Rooted doesn't matter, since you'd be completely replacing the ROM.

You better believe the user up here: 11111111 is superCID. You have to fix NOTHING. Go ahead.

Just remember to do INCREMENTAL UPDATES or

If you are not sure about the increments, you always can flash a FUU which always contains all increments until the current firmware.
You can find such FUU's in this thread!

I am just about to completely wipe my phone and SD Card and start from scratch.
I know, some day ago you wrote about 34.2 (don't panic now pls. )
You said e.g. Face unlock would be fixed (I know about the zip) so I just wanted to knwo whether you (and I know it's not kind to ask for eta's, so I won't ) could
leak a small hint wheter I sould wait with flashing 34.1.

Still no LTE joy on my VZW M8

No luck with the LTE band though. It never shows any LTE (I moved throughout Rome with no change) icon, despite the fact the SKUs are correctly set for Europe, the radio band is set to Automatic in 4G switcher and the network type setting is 2G/3G/4G.

This looks like a curse to me: how can I unlock those #$%#$ EU LTE bands?? Plz help...
