Flashed this last night and all I can say is that it's a beast. Nice work Adam and others. Best battery life I have seen out of any custom rom so far, and I still haven't even reset my battery stats.

Anybody know any battery indicator mods that are easy to install with this? My only qualm with this rom is the stock battery indicator...would really like something with a percentage so I don't have to go into settings to check it.

As AdamOutler said the kernel is UsraMinor and is based on i9010 source. The biggest diff between speedmod and UrsaMinor is the base source. Speedmod is based on i9000 source. The other major difference is speedmod uses Universal Lagfix and UrsaMinor uses Voodoo lagfix. They both convert the file system to ext4, the difference is just how they do it. Some of the other "features" in both of the kernels are shared. We thank hardcore (speedmod developer) in the second post. Other things that are in both have been developed by others. It's a great community of developers that share information. :D I can't wait to give back to that community
Does this kernel have the darker auto brightness? Also does it have the option for a warm color tone? Those two options are must have's for me.

Thanks

I just seen a new thread opened up for this in the Captivate Themes forum (and it works).

You shouldn't have to wipe the battery stats because the file should have been rewritten when you flashed the rom. As long as you flashed with a full battery you shouldn't need to wipe anything. The most over looked part if the battery stats bin is "stats" its an abbreviation for statistics. When you first flash a rom there is no data in this file, and you need to charge and drain a few times before you get accurate readings. Be patient I'm pretty sure this rom is gonna show awesome results in a few days.

Why such ugly theme you chose for Andromeda3? Where is old nice orange?
There is no "theme" to Andromeda anymore. Themeing is left to the themers. The orange theme was stopped with 2.0. I'm sure someone will make it compatible though.

I have noticed that in call volume seems to be a tad lounder. Not sure if it's a voodoo thing or just my imagination.

Yes! the one theme I tried with this ROM worked, the Andromedena Tek Galaxy Theme that is full of the lovely orange, it has a nice blue glow as well.

I got it all up and running with this theme, it works and looks great! My only issue for now is...how to get rid of the status bar clock? I use a clock widget, so the clock in the status bar is annoying.

I have found a few threads on how to do this, but it has all been a no go. I have been trying to edit the services.jar, but I am having a hard time even getting the sdk and all the required stuff to even work on my pc.

It's frustrating how difficult something as simple as removing the status bar clock can be! KUDOS to all the devs, you are amazing at what you do!

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

I flashed one I've been using since Andromeda 1.1 and it works fine.
Just curious, when I flashed my battery mod, the old Andromeda wallpaper came up after reboot. No big deal as everything is working and I use a custom wallpaper anyway. Just thought it was odd that it would do that. Anyone else see this when using one of the Andro battery mods from the Themes section?

Yes. Turn off any lagfixes that might be installed, for good measure.
