So on top of the fc on angry birds if the game has had data restored from tibu, I'm getting an fc on the xda app. Sometimes when seeking to the first or last page of a thread it will loop on 'Processing' until I hit back, then when I try again the phone vibrates & FC. Anything I can try? I've flashed more times than I can count with ease, I took the time to flash to stock & mc before flashing this rom & these are the only problems I'm having.

I tried reinstalling xda - still fc

I wiped cache & cleared dalvik cache.

I don't think this is a rom issue. It's happening to me using tapitalk... just started doing it this evening. Worked fine earlier today...

Sent from my Cappy running Andromeda 3.

Really love the new team komin logo on power down.

When I power on, I always get the robot voice just before the normal andromeda whoosh sound on boot animation...is that normal?

E: Failed to verify whole file signature
E: signature verification failed
Instalation aborted

Have you any suggestions?
Yeah, do a search. You're obviously on stock Froyo and have run into the 3e recovery issue. There are a number of threads on how to overcome this. Had you done your research beforehand you would have known about it instead of posting in this thread. It has nothing to do with this ROM.

Start here:

Lightsrus: You have signature checking. You must install a recovery without signature verification. Recovery2e or Recovery3E without signature will work. This ROM is not signed.

I will post a "noob" video shortly. I have already recorded it. The video just needs to be edited and posted. I covered rooting, using titanium backup, flashing a kernel with odin3 1.7, installing a ROM, restoring your phone to stock if there's errors, I even softbricked my phone and showed how to recover.

What was your version before upgrade? I cannot account for this issue, you should check your settings in titanium backup. I would contact the titanium backup guys and see if they can assist.

These were slight changes to the UI which we feel improves experience. It is normal.

^^Smoothing takes extra processor cycles, which removes speed. You can get font packages online by going to Settings>Display>Font Style We use Armani by default.

This sounds like you may have something under your screen protector or along the edge of the screen, it could be damaged. I've got no answers other then that. We don't have any code which will cause the button to think it's being pressed. If I were to hypothesize any further then that, it would involve wave-partical duality, polarization, and ultimately it would come back to something on, near, touching, or damage to your screen.

It's just moisture under the glass panel from a sweaty palm. Rice air and time will fix the issue. Unless they have sweaty palmitus, for this there is no cure.

Andromeda2.2(1.2) vs Amdromeda3

Hey everyone. Just finished reading 16 pages. Seems like there are still a few bugs or is it that flashing the rom in different ways produces different bugs?
I'm currently running andro 2.2 and the only things that bug me is the bad battery life(8hrs top with casual web surfing and chat) and the gps doesn't ever lock for me.
I think that I read that you can install this directly over 1.2/2.2, correct? Will I loose my orange theme? And what will I really gain over 2.2 which seems to be great(ish) Thanks

I have one comment: the camera work slower than 1.2 and cannot focus with power button.
Power button takes a picture. it does not focus. Focus is auto-focus when you tap on the screen.

There are no bugs in this rom... None that we can reproduce.

I have not been able to reproduce a single bug. Even the restoration of Angry Birds.. it's likely that they were using an out-dated version of Titanium Backup or the "experimental" mode in Titanium Backup, or they were trying to restore a 2.3 data from their experiment with CyanogenMod. Angry birds plays just fine on our phones. We can backup and restore any game. I've tried multiple ROMs and have never experienced this problem. Of course, I've kept Titanium Backup up-to-date, never used experimental mode, and I've never made a backup when using the forever-beta CyanogenMod.

You can restore over your ROM. It will wipe the data and you can use titanium backup to restore anything. You can use one of the skins mentioned in this thread to get the orange back. We do not 'officially' support them as we do not make them, however there's no real harm in changing skins. Skin support is provided by skin developers.

I'd like to take a minute to remind people of how you may inform Team Komin of a bug.

From Q&A thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11504670
I think i've found a bug! Where can I report it?
Right here. There are several other options:
Our 1.3 release discussion: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12421385
Bug tracker: http://code.google.com/p/teamkomin/issues/list
You can chat live with our developers, be patient though, we likely have our IRC screens burried: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#teamkomin

So far, we have not been able to confirm a single bug in Andromeda. When we get an issue, we are quick to triage it and we will release a service pack if required. Here is our current list of issues http://code.google.com/p/teamkomin/issues/list

Here is our bug report form http://code.google.com/p/teamkomin/issues/entry

If you have an actual bug that relates to Andromeda, use the form.

I can vouch for this. I even restored some system data (was backed up while on 1.2) without any issues. All my apps restored fine, my contacts, wifi, BT and speed dials restored fine. The only thing I didn't take a chance on was e-mail settings. Absolutely no issues since day 1 of the release of 3.0.
