It does not work on either of my 6Ps and I am also on Verizon. Unlocked or "Non-Verizon" phones can be a pain on their network. I am about to leave Verizon for T-Mobile or AT&T even though I travel a lot and use a lot of data (still on a grandfathered unlimited data plan). I am tired of Verizon and their restrictive policies. I also have an Essential Phone, and Verizon won't allow it to use Wi-Fi calling. It works fine on my business T-Mobile plan. I don't remember if VoLTE worked on the stock 6p ROM with Verizon as that has been a long time ago. I just recently switched back to my 6p when my Pixel XL died. The only thing I can tell you is to make sure HD calling is turned on in your Verizon account (It should be already). You can try calling a Verizon CS, but I can tell you from experience, they will not be much help. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. HD calling is enabled on my account. I'm using the stock ROM and can verify voice over LTE does, in fact, work. I can live without Wi-Fi calling but without voice over LTE, I can't use data while I'm on a phone call, not to mention the quality of the voice call is much lower. Therefore, it's very important to me this feature be implemented.

magisk will always superior option, btw u just need an unlocked bootloader and twrp recovery. you're good to flash.

Problem/question:
I can't find my location if I disable google (play) services.
Is there a way to determine location w/o relying on Google but on the AOSP location provider?
I know the AOSP location provider has efficiency drawbacks, etc but I want a de-Googled AOSP experience (which Bootleggers also cannot provide since I require Gapps to determine location.)

Hard to tell with the lack of information given, but my first guess would be that you didn't format /data after flashing the rom and before booting.

Yep, Formatting data is required if bootloops!

Flashed this ROM a week ago, been having the most solid Android Q experience on my angler, plus I love the many features this ROM offers so for the first time in a while I don't have anything to say about it.

I'd love to know if there's a way to change the bootanimation because I couldn't find the media folder in \system\, and even when I created it myself and put my custom bootanimation.zip in there, nothing changed.

At this point I am not entirely sure, I do know that I ended up with the entire operating system deleted and took the past two days to get stock back on there rooted in twerp I am going to start the process soon of trying to get this wrong on my phone period do you know what I might have done and is there any advice you can offer?

this is the first phone I've ever had without a external SD card drive so I'm not completely sure
