Pier,

I'm planning on flashing this over your AOKP ICS build, I cant' leave you. Your ROMs are extremely stable, best ones I have used. Should I wipe, wipe and wipe? Which kernel do you recommend for the JB AOKP?

Is the hardware composer code or proprietary ? Why do the devs need Samsung ? Is it a case where the aosp devs are given a driver and api but no actual code ?

battery life is pretty ordinary for me in this ROM. i checked the wakelocks and alarms and nothing specific there. i observed that with 3g on the drain is super fast and overnight drain with wifi on was somewhere close to 20%. i tried siyah, dorimanx and cm kernels.

I am having similar issue, the battery is not sustaining half a day, I am unable to mount external SD to pc, and when video files are copied to the external sd using microsd adapter directly they are unreadable in the phone even with sdrescan.
Is any one having similar issues?
But otherwise Pier rom is smooth with the remaining performance.
Any help would much appreciated

Pier, I think I'm not the only one that would love to see you as an official device maintainer for SGS2.:highfive:

You are a great guy, who treats users fairly and nice (something rare in xda!) and have a good grasp of things. Would you be willing to? ;)

    Here are the guidelines:

    You got my support.

I can't think of anyone better suited to take that place.

    Thanks friends :)
I really appreciate that! You make me fell "important" ^^

Maybe you guys know that me, Bajee11, Rodries and others "kangers/devs" started to meet on #AOKP-SGS2 IRC channel.

We're somewhat a "friendly team" right now now but we're talking about this opportunity to offer our "service" to the official AOKP.

    Stay tuned :)

To finish today's (hard) work I just released:

    aokp_i9100_jb_pier_20120820.zip
    MD5: 6223cd7e35d63e64b3470b7b0501d61f

All repos up-to-date with the AOKP tree.
No big changes yet, so if you already has a working "19" build, stay with it.

    g'nite ;)
