Yes, you can because the rom you're coming from has a safe kernel as well as this rom. So you should have no worries flashing between these two roms. However, i do strongly advise you to do a full wipe in cwm because you're coming from one android os(ICS) to a different android os(jellybean)!
Not only is it strongly advised, its a must.

I don't want to be one of those people, but how's the battery life? Last time I tried JB it was ok, 2 hours on screen over ~14hours, while I can get almost double that on ICS. Probably going to still try it out, just want to know what to expect.
is there a reason why the battery backup is so much better on ICS ? is it generalisable?

Uhmm that's hard to answer. It varies with our setup, apps etc.. Another reason is that JB is on it's early stages so don't expect much about battery life as this would be the last thing on the list that the devs would be focusing on.

All JB ROMs currently have a memory leak problem

The latest build of Entrophy has the memory leak fixed and hwcomposer in it. It's smooth out of the box though not buttery smooth like "project butter", it is as smooth as CM10 with HydraCore kernel w/o the need of installing it. Hopefully this will be merged in the nightly builds

As you say, every setup and device is different, but I always get FAR better battery life on JB compared to ICS.

Has anyone tried this on this rom?

Im running it right now. All i can say is that it's smooth and stable. No memory leaks, smooth out of the box. Everything is on stock, no running scripts of some sort or any custom kernels(it's entrophys' kernel built to support the open source hwcomposer)

Yes, as there are other viable alternatives to the S-memo in the market but in my opinion it's not as good as the touchwiz apps. S-pen gestures won't work as well. If you really need those apps and features you would need to stick to a tw based rom

Anybody else having problems with the lock screen?

When i wake the device up, the lock screen does not respond.. After like 30seconds it does, or when i push power button few times...
