Running this solid rom without any gapps. So far do good.
Just can't find a way to easily toggle location from notification bar shortcut (small pull).
There's one for wifi under the QS settings in Owls nest.

It whenever i tap on the icon, it always seems to open the location settings.
Anyone knows where to find that setting?

The loction tile is there in quick settings. BTW how do you enable location without gapps? Are you using micro G?

Thanks for the reply but I'm afraid there's a misunderstanding. I get this menu. I'm tryig to switch location on and off from here (see screenshot) without having to go to that menu you showed.

With regards to gapps, I'm not using any at all. I installed f-droid and loaded most of the other apps by installing the apk files (WhatsApp, etc). I just can't install any app made by Google but it's OK.

Too soon to say but i can tell you that battery is phenomenal!!! Standby times increased dramatically. Probably because there's less syncing and server activity in the background.

Off topic question.
How do you get apps like whatsapp or telegram to push msgs for you without a core like microg or gplay services? Damn

I honestly don't know. All i did was install the apk and it works fine. I don't have telegram though. Only basic stuff like email (type app), Skype, LinkedIn and Firefox. My contacts are saved locally. Imported them from Google through vcard. For navigation i use Osmand together with an extension called AddressToGps.
So far no issues at all except a great battery:p.
The only downside is that automatic updates of apps is no longer possible unless you installed them from f-droid.
I'll update the apks myself once a month or so. Small price tu pay for the awesome battery

Almost perfect :D... Just add some black theme... Change rgb values to 160... Cause ghost icons is not a good thing :p
I'm so suprised of the battery life :D
Just make something like Validus rom with lot of options... And battery life of Aosip. Then i say its more than perfect :)

I was having some trouble with 5.8 but I did a clean install for 5.9. For the Google Camera. There's a flashable zip going around I can't find it, but it has 4.1.x along with some libs, and obviously permissions, while It doesn't work at first, I noticed it was 4.1, so I decided to update it and now Google Camera works with Video Recording... If I find it I'll post it, if not, I could upload the file.

As for audio (my case, a XT1644) was stilll happening on 5.8, even after I added the High Perf DAC for Magisk along an apk (look on the General App Section of XDA). and it was still happening. I don't blame the rom but I know I'm not the only one, but if there were a script found later on, (people who have this issue and) I would be really thankful. (In my case It was clean install and no mods, (viper, aura, etc, well except High-Perf DAC module) and it was still there)

Thank you for continuing the hard work for this ROM c: I'll report any issues on 5.9 along with Logs if I can get them

UPDATE:: 2 Days later after this post; I've realized I can no longer connect to the Camera again :/ So back to square one

Have you tried using stock camera?? I've used this https://forum.xda-developers.com/20...-moto-camera-gallery-cm13-based-roms-t3360854 and has been working great, so far, the only issue I have encounter is that sometimes, the first 1-2 seconds, the image lags a little bit.

Let me know if it works
