Hi guys, we're posting this message today to talk about RevengeOS, yeah you already know that project so why are we talking about that?

Its because I wanna talk about the developers of our project.

There are just 3 developers that hard worked everyday for you, with optimization, exclusive UI, volume panel, etc. They want to make this project more and more exclusive, they want to improve everything. And lastly, they want that their users be happy while using it. But there is a problem, 3 developers can't do much. So, I'm here to ask if you - if you're a developer, and if you want to join us, we have the following requirements:

Clean flash steps:

- Boot into your recovery
- Wipe data, cache, ART/Dalvik cache
- Format data, then reboot to your recovery
- If needed, flash firmware zip file for your device
- Flash RevengeOS zip file
- Re-wipe cache and ART/dalvik cache
- [OPTIONAL] Flash GApps zip and/or Magisk zip
- Reboot!

Dirty flash steps:

- Boot into your recovery
- If needed, flash firmware zip file for your device
- Flash RevengeOS zip file
- Wipe cache and ART/dalvik cache

Tried to install, but no luck. The rom gives immediate errors :
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip RevengeOS-4.0-R-UNOFFICIAL-miatoll-20201101-1329.zip
Failed to mount "/system_root" (No such file or directory)
Failed to mount "/vendor" (No such file or directory)
Failed to mount "product" (No such file or directory)

No idea how to fix this

The way I fix it is
Flash xiaomi official rom
Boot into system once complete setup and then flash pbrp recovery
Try again to flash rom this time hopefully you won't get any error

- Backup each and every partition from TWRP Recovery(optional)
- Make a full wipe (system, vendor, data, cache, dalvik)
- Flash RevengeOS Package
- Flash gapps
- Wipe cache! -And at last Reboot!
[First boot will take few minutes! Have patience]
Clean Flash is always recommended!

1_ Kindly change them
You are using Android!
2-Known problem at R roms cuz it uses different things to read your information and should take a backup and format that under rom
It was a solution which a other dev said on other thread

It reads my exFAT formatted MicroSD without any problem. In fact, it is, so far, the only Android 11 ROM that has succeeded in doing this.

PS: I am talking here about the "20201105-2224" release. The earlier one did not boot at all.

If you want any bug to be fixed please write here on xda in detail. Give Logcats, mention your device name, mention if any mods and kernels, if used and please be specific about it. By helping us, you are helping yourself too.

I only get a "404 Not Found" when trying to download the ROM.
