After the install, no recovery comes from the device.
Factory reset not possible
I can't restore my APPs, SMS, ..... everything.
Can you remove the search bar on the homescreen?
The display on/off in seconds cycle is also there.

If you mean there is no setup wizard after installing the gapps then it will take some time for gapps to be fully compatible.

To factory reset the device you can flash userdata.img in fastboot.
Can you test this new version if display flickering is still there for you?

If you install gapps 12L and they are compatible, error in the pixel launcher but everything works very well

Please test the rom without gapps ans if you still feel its laggy, please share the logs.

Support for Sony Xperia Yoshino ended by Sony Open Devices program at Android 11, that is why we have android 11 binaries as the latest.
I am still trying to maintain it as far as possible with the android 11 binaries.

I am very sure you have flashed the v9a binaries, which are not recommended, Please see the 1st post for installation instructions.

also when reporting bugs, do it with logcat else we cannot do anything about it.

You need V5B binaries which can be found here(https://developer.sony.com/file/dow...for-aosp-android-11-0-kernel-4-14-yoshino-v5/)

• Flash latest available Stock ROM(47.2.A.10.107) and boot into it once.
• Reboot to Fastboot
• fastboot flash oem SW_binaries_for_Xperia_Android_11_4.14_v5b_yoshino.img
  • fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
  • fastboot flash boot boot.img
  • fastboot flash system system.img
  • fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
• Boot into recovery mode by pressing and holding power button and volume down button at the same time.
• go in to Sideload
• flash over PC , Litegapps
• Flash the Litegapps fix over TWRP
• Reboot

For people getting bootloop please use the boot.img from archive folder.

Bad news : my maple is dead after water went inside it on the beach.

Yes it is/was waterproof.
I have taken it multiple times in the pool/beach and was able to capture some stunning photos.
But this time, it simply decided to die, maybe due to dying hardware.
PS: dont take 4 years old waterproof device in water/pool/beach.
