what is the difference between this, AOKP milestone, THS ICS?
That's like asking the difference between two custom Samsung ROM's. This has different features, plain and simple. Install it, see if you like it more than AOKP or CM9, if you do keep it, if not, replace it. In my personal opinion, CM9 is quite a bit behind AOKP and Gummy as far as features go. CM9 takes a lot longer to get things done due to the review process and the amount of devices something has to work on.

Is anybody else having a problem with the home key. I only get haptic feedback when I press the home key and nothing happens.

The keys are now working after i installed "gapps" and rebooted the phone.

Sorry for the false alarm.
