CyanogenMod 11.0 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 *
 * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
 * cause of male impotence.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

I'm grabbing the latest nightly now, if the XDA DevDB downloader doesn't work then I have them mirrored in the second post. DevDB downloads should be up here in the next 30 min, along with today's nightly.

Just for my own curiosity, most ROMs I've seen on 4.3 have been built on JSS15Q while this is on JLS32C. Is that not an older build of 4.3? Correct me if I'm wrong :)
android-4.3_r3 came with the build id JLS36C, which is pretty weird since you're right, is is before JSS15Q. I'm not sure why they went backwards, but that is what AOSP is reflecting right now.

https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_build/commit/07424d36c4da0afe19af7b646867317b2a35ab80

PS: I incorrectly typed JLS32C instead of JLS36C

Interesting, and weird lol I figured it was newer but in my head just didn't make sense for the reason you mentioned already. Anyway look forward to trying this shortly...

This may have been my fault for dirty flashing over a JSS15Q build or maybe it was an issue with the 9/17 build but I kept getting FC's on the phone. Honestly I didn't try a fresh install so it may just be me. Anyone else experience that?

com.android.phone force-closes are a problem with the patches that something15525 merged, those patches are what I was experimenting with in my (aptly named) experimental builds. The authors in question of the patches have left them just, you know, hangin' out, for a while, so the question remains if their approach was even sane or if it has been abandoned for a yet-WIP change that affects the stack in the manner that they were hoping(stopping the crashes of the RIL stack on transitions from LTE).

This has the experimental patches to improve switching reliability. If LTE isn't working at first trying toggling it on and off, and let me know how it works!

Did a clean install, and right off the bat 3G worked great. Even switching from Wi-Fi to 3G was quick.

Then, while I was at work, I walked outside, and there is 4G coverage right outside the building. As soon as I walked outside, the 4G icon popped up, then my data dropped. I tried the LTE toggle 3 times, and each time my data dropped.

I wasn't sure if I should have posted, since I am unable to post a log, but hopefully this feedback helped.

Yeah man, I'm waiting for conceptxo to merge his changes in, then hopefully I'll have a nightly up tonight that has those fixes merged in. Thanks for testing though :) hopefully I'll get it working soon here.

I'll keep you guys updated.

Hey guys, I've made an EXPERIMENTAL build for testing. It can be downloaded here:
http://get.cm/get/b1T

There are no guarantees that data is working right now (in fact, it's probably not yet). Most of the fixes have been merged in for the issues but not all of them.

This is the first build of cm-10.2 on the official buildserver, so I'm making an experimental build to see what is working and what is not.

If you guys could test this out for me and tell me how it's working, throw me a logcat or two if things are broken, it would really help to getting a more stable build made.

Until the data becomes more reliable, I will not turn on nightlies, but it shouldn't be too long here, and when changes get merged I'll build another experimental.

TLDR, try it out and give me some logs! :D
