More Oreo updates:
Mobile data and sensors are fixed now. NFC still isn't, but it's not a high priority for now. Tomorrow, I will try pushing all stuff I have locally to our Gerrit/GitHub (I pushed most already, but not all), and I'll as well test how stuff works. If I don't find any big issues, I'll release a build here, so we can get more feedback to identify any potential issues before starting the "official" UA builds. :)

Great message. :good:
Thank you for taking the time and effort in a time when you have little.
I wish you this ROM was the first Oero on Nexus 4! :highfive:

For sure, UA will be the first O ROM for mako :good:

I don't think the work that Ziyan had done for mako could have been done by any other dev ;)

How does the nougat rom work with safetynet and bluetooth low energy? I currently use the wip aosp 7.1.1 that the safetynet passes without touching anything but when wanting to use a bluetooth bracelet there is no way to synchronize it (Pokemon Go & pogo+)

and congratulations for the progress made to bring oreo to our n4 :highfive:

Alright, here's an experimental Oreo build: https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=26695. As mentioned yesterday, things mostly work, but be ready to experience (and report ;) ) any kind of breakage :) I know that NFC is broken, so please try disabling it to avoid any potential problems.

I never tested with GApps, but I heard that this is a good package: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120757579, although it might not fit on our small /system partition... in which case, we either need to find a smaller package, or we need to disable dexpreopting.

Thank you! For some reason TWRP reports no OS installed, which obviously is and am using it right now :) Also, auto rotation seems to be non functional for now.

edit: upon reboot, rotation seems to be working :)
