i dont think there is anything required, but i came from 12.0.7 and use 12.0.5 decrypted vendor

If I install this ROM, would I be able to upload photos to Google cloud in compressed format and keep it forever?
If so, this would be the single most valuable feature on *any* phone! (including Apple)

it's the device's fingerprint signature. Redfin is codename for Google Pixel 5. By changing fingerprint, Google Photos recognizes that device is Google Pixel 5 and you get unlimited photo storage. It can be done in build.prop & default.prop.

Yes, unless Google shuts it down one day. You can have low and high quality compressed photos for unlimited times but uncompressed photos are calculated as a base storage in Google Drive (15GB).
